The first game is today, I mainly got into soccer because of my dad but i've grown to like it.

"Eli!" My mom yells from downstairs. "We have to leave!"

"Alright coming!" I grab my soccer bag and run downstairs and get into my mom's car.

Am I forgetting something?

When we get to the gates I see Callie and Alex, arguing? They never argue. I walk up to them. Alex is mad, like he's like madman, mad and Callie is about to cry.

"No, Callie, i'm so done, I am SO fucking done. I can't believe this, all over dad? You should be glad we're not living with that piece of shit. But instead you have to do this stupid shit! You broke her promise. Again!."

"Alex i'm sorry you don't understand it helps." He opens his mouth and turns to her to say something else but notices me.

"We'll finish this talk later, ima go find Isa." Calista nods and he walks away.

"FUCK!" She yells and throws her water on the ground. I know she's mad, mad because she's getting aggressive. Something she does when she really mad. She starts shaking still not noticing me. She turns and see me. "O-oh hi Eli." I nod.

"What happened?" I ask about the whole thing. She shakes her head and mutters nothing. Bull shit. "Callie," I grab her face. She tears up and hugs me. Tightly. I hug her back and she just cries. We stand there in a silence until it's interrupted.

"ALL SOCCER PLAYERS REPORT TO FIELD!" The overhead speaker announces.

I pull back and she smiles but I know it's a cover. I rub my thumb over her cheek and kiss her forehead. "We'll talk later, yeah?" She nods.

I walk toward the field and she goes sits with my mom and Rose. Rose jumps on her and I can tell she's smiling. A real smile.

The game starts and I, being the forward, get the ball and ran towards the goal. A defender runs up to me I juke them and I dribble the ball a little more up and score the first goal. My teammates all run up and chest bump me.

After our team scores the past three goals making it 4-2. I'm back to my position. The whistle blows and i'm off. The other team has the ball until my teammate, Jackson, gets the ball and dribbles it until he sees i'm open and he passes it.

I start running towards the goal when all the sudden my chest tightens, my hand shoots up to my chest. Oh no. My lungs feel like they are on fire, I push through and score the goal.

Coach noticed me slowing down and grasping my chest. He called me out, switching me with a teammate I've never seen in my position.

He must be new, but i'm focused on my breathing. I grab my chest harder and walk towards my bag. I look for something but it's gone, that's what I was missing, my inhaler. Oh shit, I look at the stands and search for my mom. "Get.. my mom." I say in between breaths, as I lay on the ground.
