Towering over the trio was a giant church. It felt strange, like not of this world building was super pointy it also looked like it had a look out room on the middle tower where a bell should have been.

Robin twirled around trying to get a better view of the church awe strucked and unable to look away.

Not even the sun could be seen behind it.

She also had to walk and back and forth from the church noticing a huge barrier had cloaked itself over the church.

Issabella had explained to Robin the barrier acts as a deterrent to adults which was odd to Robin, but considering the way the valley works she chalked up to the valleys magical properties...

Once Robin was done checking in and out the area she stood between Izzy and Don taking a huge breath and composed herself

"So this where you all hang out?" Robin asked again looking back at the barrier like it was a skybox in a video game.

"Yep we also somehow get food refilled every night," Don replied like he was trying to sell the place.

Robin sighed that's was the least of her concerns she thought.

"Alrightly let's up stairs!" issabella ordered and charged into the doors first leaving Robin and Don to catch up to her.

***

Somewhere elsewhere, darkness engulfed everything and everyone (being two people) the only light was a white pale shade as if they we're in a black and white movie.

A man in chains hanging in the air while another sat in his throne with in a very empty room, the only thing that' filled the space we're tall brick pillars.

The man in the chair had been smiling for 3 hours while the other one had been brooding.

"Do you think it's fine old friend? I know you have a debt to pay to the underworld devil...but just being here causes chaos for both of us," the man in the cloak said while creasing his fingers together with his elbows placed against his legs.

The man hanging be the chains spat on the ground which created a loud echoe..

"You sound like a chalk board Franky," he sighed.

Franky got up from his chair, grew in size like a jack in the box to reach the old man.

Franky slapped him, pulled his hand back like he was sorry and laughed maniacally.

"I'm sorry Gilbert, but you brought a three headed dog from the underworld to earth you realise the kind of enemies you now have made right?" Franky replied while walking around like a giant making loud thumping sounds.

"...what even is you're plan?" Gilbert asked.

Franky laughed while he shrank to normal size to sit back in his chair.

"Oh I forgot to mention you're wife will have her memories wiped by Halloween!" Franky laughed maniacally.

"So help get me down from here before I crack you're skull open demon!" Gilbert yelled trying to make as much noise as possible

Franky raised his eye brow while trying to shush Franky before eventually getting him down...

.....

Robin leaned against the window smooching her face against like she was trying to phase through the wall because she couldn't believe the night sky she was witnessed she could have sworn it was day time just before, now in this look out tower it was night time!

"Everyone gets mesmerized the first time they visit this little library," Don said he sounded as if he was in a hurry

Robin rolled her eyes not wanting to take her fixated eyes off the video esque skybox it was behind anything she's ever seen.

A moment later isabella sighed in frustration and clapped her hands making all the window curtains shut dramatically.

She also dragged Robin from her spot to the middle of the room where a bunch of beanbags we're placed about.

"You woke up on the wrong side of the bed," Robin laughed hysterically not knowing what came over her.

"....well, no never mind we have a serious situation to get on to," issabella replied while looking over to Don.

Don nodded

"So the main thing we need to prepare you for is you're mother ongoing memory loss, unfornately none of the orphans here have managed to fix that' issue,"

"Seriously? So my mother will just forget me, what if we leave the valley?"

"Because you also met the ghost in the garden you can't unless you want to die of course," issabella chimed in.

Robin rolled her eyes.

"Yeah we've all come to the conclusion the valley is alive, the number of deaths in the lake alone has led us to believe some kind of spirit box has been made," Don paused he saw Robin wide eyes almost glare in his soul

"We legit ate fish from that lake yesterday..." Robin gulped.

"Yeah, you'll by fine,"

"On more pressing matters though we ask you to stay here where it'll be safe you see the adults here the moment they start loosing memories will react violently and we don't now why, I'm aware you are scarred already but we'd rather you don't get hurt by you're own mother," issabella said sympathetically.

Robin didn't say a word but clench her fists tightly.

She knew she didn't have a lot of time to spend with her mother, but she couldn't bare to watch her mother loose her identity Infront of her.

She sighed and rested her head on the ground.

"Alright I assume it'll be easier to fully avoid her than ro say goodbye?" Robin asked

Both of them nodded

"Don't worry about you're belongings well have that's taken care of as well," Don replied glancing over to a mysterious figure in a bright red jacket who nodded back at him and silently disappeared

Robin got up quickly wondering who the hell he was talking only to see the figure had vanished.

"Anyway now that' all our bases are covered let's introduce you to the catacombs orphanage!" Don said while both he and Issabella stood and pointed Robin to the door.

Robin sighed and followed with them.
