As the night ended; the red sun rose and its light washed over Lucifer in his bed. He yawned and stretched. He remembered his fight with Alastor, he looked at his arm and noticed a big scratch down it. He sighed and just decided to bandage it up, knowing more confrontation would get him nowhere. He got out of bed and got changed from his duck pajamas to his new suit that Alastor bought him way back. He walked out of his hotel room and made his way to see his daughter in the lobby.

Charlie greeted her father when she saw him and focused her attention on the others, talking to them about their daily exercise.

"What are we doing today, sweetie?" Lucifer asked.

Charlie turned again, focusing on her dad.

"Oh, well we're doing simple trust exercises! You and Alastor will also be doing trust exercises by yourselves," She replied.

Lucifer's face dropped, hang out with Alastor, again? He knew his daughter would force this in some way.

"Why, sweetheart? Alastor and I have been getting along just fine!" He lied.

"Dad, I heard you two fighting last night and I'm getting tired of it... Please, try to make amends, for me," She replied softly.

Lucifer frowned but nodded, he would only ever do this for his daughter. Soon, she asked for him to get Alastor up and ready. He nodded and went back upstairs; he walked to Alastor's room, opened the door, and walked in. He approached the bed where Alastor was still sleeping, he thought it was odd considering it was pretty late in the morning; he didn't hold back and shook Alastor.

"Wake up! We have to do a shitty activity together!" Lucifer yelled.

"Five more minutes, dear..." Alastor mumbled and shook Lucifer off him.

Lucifer rolled his eyes, grabbed Alastor, and dragged him onto the floor.

      "I said get up, please."

Alastor, finally awake rolled his eyes. He got up and went into the personal hotel bathroom to change and get ready. Lucifer smirked and walked out; he made his way back down to the lobby. He nodded at Charlie and she smiled at him for trying for once. Alastor exited his bedroom; walked down the stairs and greeted everyone.

"Good morning, everyone! Such an honor to wake up to so many beautifully disgusting, yet charming faces!" He smiled his cocky smile.

"Hi, Al! You and my dad are gonna spend the day together again while I work on the other redeeming themselves!" Charlie replied.

     Alastor's eyes widened.

"Now, now, dear! No need for that. Lucifer and I are already great friends... Best friends even," He glared at the King.

Charlie wasn't having this; Lucifer already tried this on her.

"Alastor, you have no choice. This is the only way you two will get along! The last time you two did this you got along great!" She exclaimed

"My dad is even still wearing the suit you had tailored for him, that already shows you two had some spark!" She added.

Alastor looked away, blushing a bit.

"If you insist we do this fucked up activity I guess we have to! Now, Lucifer shall I-" He was cut off by Lucifer.

"Ah-Ah! We're gonna be exploring my interests, Al. You had your turn 3 days ago! Now, let's go watch ducks!" He grabbed Alastor's arm and dragged him out of the door.

They walked down the streets of Hell as Lucifer ranted about different duck species. Alastor didn't seem annoyed; he actually kind of liked listening to Lucifer's rant. He even asked the King questions about these duck species just to keep him talking and Lucifer happily answered. Both of the men seemed to be comfortable in each other's presence and forgot about the fight as if it never happened. Lucifer continued to rant; he then saw a larger duck pond and pointed it out.

"We gotta see those ducks! Look at how many there are! Oh my-" Lucifer ran to the pond and admired the ducks.

"THERES MARBLED DUCKS! PRETTYYYYY!!!!" He shouted as he pulled out some bread and began feeding them.

Alastor caught up and stared at the ducks and Lucifer. He didn't say anything, just admired them with Lucifer. He wondered what made Lucifer have such a hyperfixation on them.

"Lucifer, do you have any other interests outside of ducks?" Alastor asked.

    "Caramel apples."

"Sweet tooth, I see," Alastor's smile seemed genuine by Lucifer's answer.

Lucifer continued to feed the ducks; he petted them. Alastor's earlier question got him thinking: What were his other interests he could share? He stood up, backed away from the ducks, and looked at Alastor.

"Say, you wouldn't mind going out a little further into town for caramel apples?" Lucifer asked.

Alastor shrugged, he didn't mind at all. Lucifer led the way as he followed alongside him; they walked to a candy shop. Lucifer walked inside and immediately started showing Alastor around the place; telling him about the strange history of this Hell shop. He nodded as he listened to the short King rant.

"They have the best caramel apples-- You'll love it!" Lucifer said as he walked over to the caramel apple stand nearby.

"Pick which one you want. They got: Plain, candied, and-- ARE THOSE MARSHMALLOWS?! HOLY SHIT! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!"

Alastor walked over and picked up a regular caramel apple.

"I'll stick to the old-fashioned style, dear."

Lucifer smiled at Alastor as he grabbed the one covered in caramel, white chocolate sauce, and marshmallows. He blushed a little, really enjoying their time; enjoying time with Alastor. He walked over to the counter, paid, and left with the tall red deer. They sat down at a nearby bench; talking about random stuff or telling stories.

"And that's how Lilith and I fell in love. Adam was an asshole and didn't know how to treat the ladies like me," Lucifer said, finishing his story.

   "Interesting, darling."

Alastor took a bite out of his caramel apple, getting some on his face in the process. Lucifer noticed it and got in his face a bit.

"You got something-- On your thing there," He pointed at the caramel on the red deer's cheek.

"How rude of me! I am not the one for bad manners at all!" He went to clean his face with a handkerchief but Lucifer put his hand on his face.

"I got it!" He got the caramel off and then blushed, realizing what he had just done.

The two powerful men looked away from each other, blushing very slightly. Lucifer coughed a bit.

"How about we go get something else to eat, hm? Caramel apples aren't the best dinner; my treat, I'll get us food," Lucifer smiled as he got up.

Alastor nodded, getting up, and following behind. Lucifer began blushing to himself again, was he seriously falling for the creepy red deer? He shook his head as he tried to ignore the growing thoughts of Alastor in his head. He continued to walk; he stopped at an Italian restaurant and motioned for Alastor to come inside. He walked inside, joining the short king. They were both seated at a booth; no one was there besides the two powerful figures.

"Y'know, this is my favorite place. They have the best pineapple pizza!" He said.

"Pineapple-- On pizza?? Interesting, interesting choice, indeed, dear. I'm not opposed to this but I'm not entirely sure if I'll like it," Alastor replied.

Lucifer talked about it more to Alastor; he was trying to convince him it was very good and that he needed to live a little. As Lucifer ranted the pizza was brought out by a miserable demon who quickly left without being nice. Alastor picked a slice up, took a bit, and his eyes lit up.

"My, this tastes absolutely delightful! The sweet taste of pineapple clashing with the savory taste of pizza! I never thought I would enjoy it this much," He replied.

Lucifer smiled, happy he finally got another person to enjoy his tastes.

"Luci, I enjoyed tonight. It was quite the experience! The walk was especially fun; though, I did enjoy the caramel apple and our dinner. You have good taste, dear, keep it up!" He complimented Lucifer.

Lucifer was stunned as he was complimented by Alastor of all Sinners. He was filled with overwhelming emotions now; not only did he feel like falling for Alastor, but it felt like he already had. He stood up.

"I-- We should go back to the hotel, I don't have any more interests to share," Lucifer murmured.

"Already? Oh well, such a shame!" Alastor's brows furrowed sadly, "I thought you were having fun but very well, we shall pick this up another time!"

Lucifer walked out; he didn't care if Alastor was following or not, he just wanted to go home. His heart was pounding and his breathing was heavy; it felt like a panic attack but if you had a crush on someone. He didn't know why he felt like this but he couldn't tell Alastor, that red deer would laugh at him or worse. He began running to the hotel; he just wanted to lay under his duck-patterned covers for comfort. After a very long run, he made it back to the hotel. He walked in, went upstairs, and hid away in his room.

He pulled his blanket back and lay down. He lay there, contemplating what the hell he was even thinking. He couldn't deny the fact he felt something for Alastor; it was way too embarrassing to even think about. He put his face into his cupped hands and started whining in frustration, he hadn't felt this way since he met Lilith. His heart and mind were racing, he couldn't help but keep thinking of the tall red deer demon and his oddly, strange charming smile. He got more angry with himself for even considering Alastor a crush option.

"Oh, come on! All the Sinners in Hell and you fall for that weirdly-- Charming demon," He shook his head violently, yelling at himself to stop thinking about it.

His mind was filled with Alastor complimenting their night together. He couldn't deny that either; he loved their night together very much too. He nuzzled into his pillow, trying to think about something else but every time he did it always ended up having Alastor in some capacity. He got more frustrated and started yelling into the pillow, even tearing up a bit, he hated feeling like this. It especially hurt more knowing he could never confess his feelings without embarrassing himself.

He sat up in his bed and sighed. He didn't care if he was gonna embarrass himself, he was gonna tell Alastor to get rid of this awful, soul-crushing feeling. He grabbed something to write on and something to write with; he made a plan of when and how he should tell Alastor. He wasn't gonna do it today, that would just be a little too embarrassing for his liking. He thought if he should go through with this someday, he didn't even know if Alastor would even like him back; he knew Alastor would never actually love him, so what's the point? To get rid of the awful feeling grinding away at Lucifer's mind, he needs to ease it somehow. He finally finished the plan, put it away, and knew he would at least get this off his chest soon... Hopefully.
