October

"God, I forgot how bloody awful the last trimester is," Catalina complained, plopping on the couch with a sigh.

"Don't remind me, I'm already dreading it," Grace told her.

"How's therapy been?" Cata bit into her tuna sandwich.

As it turns out, Grace's suspicions about Xander were partly true. Though he didn't exactly have a full on affair with his agent, they did have one or two make out sessions behind Grace's back. When she confronted him, he was extremely honest about everything, and once Grace told him she was pregnant, he did everything in his power to beg for forgiveness. She hasn't fully forgiven him just yet, that's why they were in couple's therapy, to work out their feelings and issues.

"Better," Grace nodded. "We're getting somewhere, but we're still sleeping in different bedrooms though."

"Oh," Cata pouted, "Is it weird?"

"Most definitely," she confirmed, "I still cry myself to sleep most nights, these hormones are no joke."

"Oh, Gracie," Catalina truly felt for her friend. "If Harry did something like that, I would probably kill him in his sleep."

"I've thought about it, but it'd just be too messy, " Grace jested with a nose scrunch, making her friend laugh. "Do you know what you're having yet?"

"Not yet," Catalina rubbed her round belly, "Harry is convinced it's a girl though."

"Is he?" A surprised look took over Grace's face.

"Mhm. I say "convinced" but I think he secretly wants it to be a girl."

"What do you want?"

"To give birth," she let out a small sigh, "This pregnancy has been a bit easier than when I was pregnant with Arlo, but the third trimester is a bloody nightmare."

"You're almost there, though. Just a few more weeks," her blonde friend reminded her.

"Five more weeks to be exact," Cata showed excitement. "God, I can't believe I'd ever be married, much less pregnant, twice."

"Life really is funny, innit?"

"It's hilarious, really," Lina sarcastically told her.

A few hours later, Catalina had just finished talking on the phone with her mum when Harry came in through the door with their almost two year old son following behind.

"Mummy!" Arlo ran over to her, he climbed on the couch and wrapped his short arms around her neck.

"Hello, my love," Cata kissed his head.

"Careful with mummy, Lo," Harry promptly told him. "Have you moved at all since I saw you this morning?"

"Of course I have," she scoffed. Arlo sat on his knees next to her to rub her belly. "What is that?" Her eyes took notice of the brown paper bag in his hand. Harry didn't say anything. His free hand went inside the bag and pulled out a chocolate croissant. Catalina gasped in excitement, "You didn't."

"I did," he grinned. Sitting next to her, he gave her the pastry and watched as she hummed before taking a bite.

"Oh my goodness," she instantly groaned, "This is, like, heaven in my mouth. Thank you so much, baby."

"You're very welcome," he kissed her cheek. "Be careful, there's somebody who might steal it," Harry amusedly said.

They both looked at their son, who sat patiently while looking between the pastry and his mum.
