"Aahh!" Hanni screamed as she fell out of the reclining chair and hit the hard floor. The loud thumping that had startled her awake grew even louder. For a moment, she couldn't remember where she was. Then she turned toward the door. Someone was knocking loudly.

She tiptoed to the door and glanced through the peephole. It was Seokmin, Minji's chief security officer, pounding on the door. Hanni definitely had some issues with this guy, but she sighed and opened the door anyway.

Seokmin stared down at her. "Good morning, Ms. Pham. Ms. Kim wants to see you in her office, and she said for you to wear this," he stated flatly, handing her a shopping bag. She didn't recognize the language on the bag, but it looked French. She reached in and began pulling out the items. First, there was a lacy deep brown bra and matching thong.

Hanni wanted to gag.

She reached back into the bag and pulled out a soft light-brown mini-dress. With its puffed-up shoulder sleeves and pearls adorning the neckline, the dress looked gorgeous. The material was very soft but it was very short. Like something you would wear on a beach... only much shorter. It would probably just barely fall below her ass, barely mid-thigh. Hanni dumped the bag upside down and found a pair of really long strappy high heels that hit the floor. The straps looked like they would have to be pulled up to her thighs.

So uncomfortable, Hanni grimaced internally.

But that was it. There were no pants or a skirt or anything like that. What the hell? Did Minji forget she'd ripped her dress to shreds last night? Her only good dressy-dress? And in exchange for what? This expensive dental floss? She stared up at Seokmin, whose facial expression hadn't changed. He kind of reminded her of a more handsome version of Lee Sangyi from the series Bloodhounds.

"I'll come with you, but I'm not wearing this," Hanni said, stuffing the items back into the bag. Seokmin rolled his eyes and walked out. Hanni went inside, quickly took a shower, dressed in a pair of baggy jeans and a pale yellow t-shirt, threw her hair into a messy ponytail, grabbed her purse and the bag of "clothing," and followed him.

On the ride over, Hanni took in the scenery. It was really a beautiful neighborhood. She briefly wondered where Minji's actual office was located. Seokmin finally pulled up to a large house—actually, a mansion—and pressed a code into the keypad in front of the closed black iron gates. Hanni noticed that the security cameras were following them. The large gate opened and the car pulled forward until it entered a garage. Inside the garage were several expensive-looking cars. It looked like a showroom. Hanni could hardly believe she was here. This was the type of image you see only in movies.

Seokmin opened her door and led her into the house through a side door. Hanni was speechless. It was modern, yet looked as though a lot of the artifacts belonged in a museum. He led her up a huge winding staircase and further down another hallway. Finally, they stopped in front of a large oak door. For some reason, Hanni was nervous. Seokmin knocked on the door, and it opened a few seconds later. The guy she recognized as Jake stuck his head out. He turned to her and looked her up and down. Hanni realized she probably looked crazy in her old outfit. He chuckled and opened the door for her to enter.

Inside the large room was a fireplace, several bookshelves, and large pictures of Greek-looking gods and goddesses. She scanned the room and saw Minji sitting behind a large desk, staring at her. Minji was wearing a crisp white shirt and black dress pants. Her sleeves were rolled up to her elbows, and her black tie hung loosely around her neck. Minji's hair was smooth and shiny, like she had just gotten out of the shower. Her eyes... were beautiful. And cold.

"Have a seat, Hanni," Minji said. "Jake, can you call Seokmin back in here?"

"Sure, boss," Jake answered as he walked back out into the hallway. A few seconds later, Seokmin appeared at the door. "Yes, ma'am?"
