Communication

"In this project, I will give you who will be your partner later" our subject teacher in Science.

When the partners were announced, I raced to check it out. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw my name and Arden's name. Sh-t! So, why now? Yael is capable of doing it. It could also be Javier. If Javier agrees to be my partner, I am prepared to complete the project alone. But if it's only Javier, he's an exception. I know he's been busy during the last few days. He pushed himself to comprehend the lessons. There is no reason to do it. We are here. We accept and recognize that he is a slow learner. That is insufficient for us to reject him and alter our treatment of him. However, given the large number of us in the same class, why him?

Arden appeared lost as I looked at him. He doesn't seem to be in favor either. He turned to face me and rolled his eyes in the air.

I just rolled my eyed in the air. Akala mo ikaw lang ang may kaya ha?

What a life it is.

I approached Gavin and asked him about their companions. Gavin is with Yael, whereas Rocco is with Javier. It isn't fair! Why do I feel excluded? But, at least, I don't have to worry about Javier because Rocco is his companion.

Javier asked me about my partner. "Tsk! H'wag mo ng alamin,"

Disgusted, I approached the front and waited for the next teacher. I fell asleep and awoke to the yell of our following subject's teacher. He was enraged by Gavin's frenzy. Abay nag cutting class lang naman si uto. G-go talaga!

Someone piqued our interest during class. The principal's shouts could be heard from the third floor. When we looked out the window, there were a lot of students giggling. Have a laugh because of what we see below. It is Gavin. All he did was wave. How about women's underwear? T-ngina! The principal pursues him, attempting to confiscate the man's undergarments. A girl went after the principal. The school's head teacher II's appearance is sloppy. The buttons on her uniform were open, and her pants' zipper was forced to close. Perhaps she didn't pay attention to the sounds around her, and it wasn't until later that she realized there were many people watching, with the kids laughing even louder when they spotted her. It just went back and cried in shame.

"What they do is indeed incorrect. However, teach your friend how to invade other people's privacy. It's not acceptable for him to do it for enjoyment. May mga tao siyang naaargabyado. They can live forever in humiliation. There is a moment to stop what they are doing, but not right now, not like this" Arden preaching to me. Our section was the only one that was unhappy with Gavin's actions. Everyone, including Rocco. Now I am not sure I can defend him. Arden does have a point. Gavin is intelligent; he should have considered first. Arden was the first to take his seat, followed by Javier, Yael, then Rocco. Yes, Gavin is our friend, but he cannot be tolerated. But we can't abandon him either. Our section returned to their seats and stayed silent as we heard laughter from outside.

When we got together as friends, Rocco didn't hesitate to punch Gavin. The girls pulled him away but Yael stopped it. "Ano ba, kaibigan niyo yan" Ava shouted shakingly.

I approached her and hugged him so she wouldn't see what was going on. "Shhhhhh! It's okay! We're only doing this because we can't just tolerate what he did. He is still our friend and that will not change," I explain to calm her nerves and fears.

The girls are also sobbing, particularly Hyacinth. I know she wanted to stop Rocco, but she couldn't since she understood exactly why.

Rocco refuses to stop punching Gavin. I can't blame him; he's the group's stand-up father. I instructed Javier to stop Rocco since Gavin was already bleeding. It is difficult for us to do this to him, and I am sure it is also difficult for Rocco.
