Chapter 1: Getting Ready

A/N: Hi there! This is my first wattpad story. I know that there are lots of One Direction fanfics, but please give this story a chance. :)

So... I am now presenting to you the first chapter of this story. Enjoy! :D

Avery

"Avery, rise and shine! You have one hour to fix yourself and get ready for your flight."

I groaned. I looked at my alarm clock and she was right, I only have an hour to prepare. I jumped out of bed lazily and walked towards my closet. I chose a skinny jeans and a white tank top. Happy with my decision, I went to the bathroom and had a warm soak in the bath tub.

After taking a refreshing soak, I wore my clothes and grab a comb. While combing my hair, I stared at myself in the mirror. I like my long brown hair down so it will give emphasis to my jade eyes.

"Avery! The cab is already here." my aunt yelled.

"I'll be there in a minute." I replied while I grabbed my Iphone and purse. Mix emotions run through me. I bid farewell to my aunt and rode the taxi.

 I'm already on the airport when my phone vibrated. Grabbing my Iphone, I answered the call from my  best friend Tiffany, "AVERY!!! For God's sake! Why didn't you inform me that you're moving to London? I'm you're best friend, and I should know this kind of things." "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't have the right time to tell you. I know that your my best friend, but hey, I promise that I will keep in touch with you, okay?" I said with an apologetic tone. "Fine, but promise me that you won't ever replace me" she said. " Don't worry, you'll always be my best friend. Now,  I have a plane to catch. Bye and take care Fany. I love you! And, oh, remember that I'm just a phone call away" I said, finishing our conversation. I don't want to say goodbye to her, but I know that this only make things harder. I put my phone back to my purse and went to the boarding area. I tried to hold my tears, but I can't. Letting a silent sob escape, I closed my eyes for I know that I have a long journey.

"Hey Nicola!" I greeted Liam's sister. She gave me a warm smile and turned to the other boys. "Hey, what's up?" Louis asked. "Guys, there are a few arrangements we need to make. There's a new girl coming to live with us. She'll be here later and I want you boys to behave. Got it?" Nicola said then Niall raised his hand  and said, "A girl? I hope she likes Nandos." I tried to hide my laughter, but I couldn't help it. "Nialler, that's not the right way to ask about a girl." I said while flashing my famous smirk. I mean, a guy should ask stuffs like: Is she beautiful? Is she hot? am I right? "So, how old is she? And what does she looks like?" Zayn asked. Finally, someone's coming to his senses. "Well, she's 19 years old. And as far as I can tell, she has long brown hair, a nice body and she's as tall as Niall" Nicola answered. I wonder if she likes guys with curly hair , I thought to myself.

Nicola was about to leave when she spoke, " Guys, please be good to her, okay? And don't fall in love with her 'cause I don't want her to have a broken heart. I'm warning you." she said while staring daggers at us.

Now I'm excited to see this girl. Quite interesting she is.

"Miss, wake up. We're already here at London." a flight attendant informed me with a smile plastered on her face. I managed to say thanks to her and got out of my seat. After a long flight, I looked at the people in the waiting area. Someone waving in the air caught my attention. I walked towards her and asked, " Are you Nicola?" she nodded and smiled at me. "Did you have a good flight?" she asked, "Yeah, I did. Uhmm... what's your last name?" "Payne" she replied. I stood there shocked, "Payne? Wait, are you Liam Payne's sister?" I asked curiously. If she is, well, I'm a very lucky girl. " Yeah, I'm his sister" she answered. Once again, I was shocked, my eyes were wide and when I say wide, it's really wide like it's gonna fall from my sockets. Haha! Just kidding... I'm just exaggerating. "Well, we better go. The house is waiting for you" she winked at me before walking towards the exit door.

Now, I'm getting excited about my stay here in London. Let's just say that life is really surprising.
