At eight years old, after losing her parents to a tragic incident, Claire had been saved and taken in by Dandelion, her former guardian. She spent three months adjusting to her new life in the Haven, but unexpectedly, Claire was adopted again and started a new life at the Mountain of Gods when she was nine. It was a sudden change, and while Claire missed her old friends—Cookie, Dahlia, Allie, Milly, Xisteria, and Vivi—at least she had Eryx. Their friendship grew steadily, deepening the bond between them.
Throughout this time, Claire's five voices remained ever-present. She never told anyone about their existence, not even Eryx, her closest companion. Occasionally, Eryx would voice suspicions, sensing something that wasn't entirely Claire but still part of her. It unnerved Claire, leaving her anxious about explaining the complexity of her mind to her skinwalker best friend.
Insight (Calm Voice): "You're not obligated to tell her everything. Some things are yours alone to carry."
By the time Claire turned ten, she was finally allowed to explore outside the Hellenic borders. It had taken Xel a lot of pleading to convince their mother, the Goddess of Love, to let Claire experience the world beyond their realm. Despite living most of her life in Hellenic territory, Claire had fragmented memories of the outside world from before her parents' deaths. Now, she would get the chance to explore it again.
Woe (Crying Voice): "Are you ready? What if you don't belong out there anymore?"
But Claire felt hopeful. It was a new beginning, an opportunity to grow and experience things that might change her life for the better. At least, she hoped.
At least.
Until then...
The day finally came when Claire was allowed to leave the Hellenic realm.

Outside on the terrace of the grand temple, Claire leaned against the tall pillars, her wavy, medium-length brown hair falling naturally around her shoulders, catching in the soft breeze. The weather was pleasant, neither cold nor too sunny. She felt a rare peace as her dress—a light, flowy piece in pale earthy tones with floral details—fluttered gently with the wind. Her bare feet brushed the smooth surface of the temple floor, grounding her to the moment.
Her five voices were quieter than usual, allowing her some space, but they were still present, always in the background. Claire had grown more accustomed to Hellenic traditions over the past three years and had adapted to life under the care of a new family. Yet, today was different; she was waiting for her older sister, Xelphina, to arrive so they could embark on their journey to the gate that separated the outside world from the Hellenic realm.
Serene (Comforting Voice): "You're ready for this, Claire. It's okay to be excited. Embrace it."
When Xelphina finally appeared, Claire's heart swelled with happiness. She rushed out of the temple to greet her sister, her light dress flowing behind her.
"Xel, Xel! Welcome back!" Claire called out joyfully, running into Xelphina's open arms as the two sisters embraced.
Rush (Panicked Voice): "Don't get too comfortable! You still have a journey ahead."
But Claire pushed Rush's anxious warnings aside for now. In this moment, she allowed herself to feel the warmth of her sister's hug, the excitement bubbling up inside her.
Fury (Angry Voice): "Keep your guard up! You can't trust everything out there."
Yet Claire smiled, determined to enjoy the present. The unknown world awaited her, and no matter how much her voices argued or fretted, Claire knew she had to take this step forward.
