Woe (Crying Voice): "Oh no, what if she chooses you and you have to leave everyone behind? What if you're not ready?"

Serene (Comforting Voice): "It's okay, Claire. Miss Kittie said you can still be yourself. Just breathe."

Fury (Angry Voice): "Why should you even have to be put in this position? You shouldn't be pressured like this!"

She added, "I know it's a lot to take in. But this Goddess has been looking for someone to take under her protection—even though she had like, numerous children so far both of her own and with her different lovers...." Kittie trailed off, making a face as if expressing discomfort with that fact before finishing.

"And your name happens to be put forward as one of the options."

Claire's mind whirled with questions and emotions, but before she could speak, Miss Kittie gently placed her hands on her shoulders for reassurance.

Rush (Panicked/Excited Voice): "Options? This is serious! How are you supposed to handle this?"

Insight (Calm Voice): "Stay grounded. You're being considered, but it doesn't mean you'll be chosen. Keep perspective."

Woe (Crying Voice): "But what if she does choose you? What if you're not good enough for her?"

Fury (Angry Voice): "Then that's good news!"

Fury (Angry Voice): "Why does she get to decide your fate? You should have more say in this!"

"It's alright. Take deep breaths," Miss Kittie said soothingly, keeping her voice soft and gentle.

She continued, "The Goddess hasn't made her decision yet. And look, there's always the option to decline or refuse, but you can't—not this time. It's an ancient Hellenic Goddess, the Goddess of Sweetness and Love. She just wants to meet you, like the others whose names are on the list. All she needs is to see you with her own eyes and make her choice based on that."
