Curiosity piqued, Grace set down the clothes in her hands and carefully opened the box.

What she saw inside made her pause. Inside the box were various items and trinkets, each one holding memories of the past. As Grace looked through the box, she found old photographs, drawings, and mementos from previous birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.

Grace couldn't help but smile at the memories, feeling a bittersweet mix of happiness and sadness. But as she looked further, she found something that made her heart ache.

Tucked away in a corner, was a small, handmade notebook. The word "Grace" was written on the cover in Eupha's familiar handwriting.

Slowly, carefully, Grace picked up the notebook and ran her fingers over the cover. She could feel the bumps and ridges of the handmade cover, knowing Eupha had put in the time and effort.

Taking a shaky breath, Grace opened the notebook and began to flip through the pages. On each page, Grace read through entries and little scribbles, some about the days of the week, the weather, or a simple meal. But the more Grace read, the more she noticed how much Eupha thought of her.

Some were funny little doodles or sketches, or pages entirely dedicated to Grace.

That earned a smile from Grace, until she came across a certain page...

Grace thought, her gaze fixed on the title: Old Plans.

As she read on, her eyes widened in surprise, shock, and horror...

This was from a time when Eupha was still a serial killer, and in the list of Eupha's victims, several names had been crossed out. But it wasn't those names that caused Grace's breath to catch—it was the ones that hadn't been crossed out.
