The black man fired his Desert Eagle, shattering the window mere inches from the Vampires head. She didn't flinch. Rather, she sniffed the air, and a low chuckle escaped her lips.
Vampire: That's cute. But that won't hurt me.
She pulled back her guns hammer and fired, the bullet piercing the black man's shoulder. He collapsed to the floor and groaned in pain. She lowered her gun and looked to the Skinwalker. The Skinwalker had a look of fear as the air was filled with the scent of sliver.
Vampire: Now, hands up, skinny.
The Skinwalker growled and took his pelt off, returning to a human form. He and the white guy dropped their weapons and raised their hands.
The hours passed quickly, but Jace had received medical attention from a medic, while the three men were arrested by the men in black armor. Soon, the scared man approached Jace and waved the Medic off. He leaned to Jace, who sat next to a van.
Scared Man: You alright, bud?
Jace groaned. He had been lucky to only have bruising across his face and back.
Jace: Yeah, just got bitch slapped to a van.
The scared man chuckled.
Scared Man: I like you alright. Got that humor to you. Name's Jeffrey, but everyone calls me Commander.
Jace: Commander? Commander of what?
Commander: Well, I can't give away that information unless you sign an agreement of silence.
Jace: Fuck that. Who are you people?
The Commander sighed.
Commander: I can't. Unless you join us or-
Jace: I'll join you.
The Commander looked down at the young man.
Commander: You don't really understand what we deal with.
Jace: I don't care. My life is shit as is. This will finally add that spice.
Commander pointed to his face, mainly the scar.
Commander: I hope you're trying to get one of these.
Jace: What gave you-?
The Vampire then approached the two men.
Vampire: Overheard you two boys. I see you're joining us. Well... that might become your biggest regret in due time.
