Few minutes ago.
Anika was hiding in the cave. Not because she was afraid but not to be distraction.
Anika peeked behind from the rock, Jungkook was killing the men with ease.
"What's happening?? Only princess was supposed to be here with a lowlife! Why Prince Jeon Jungkook is here?" Couple of men yelled running from Jungkook.
Anika froze. Her widened in shock. The person she liked is the great Prince?
Her eyes became teary.
Betrayal.
Looking at Anika the both men rushed towards her with the knife.
Anika who noticed it took the knife hidden in her saree and killed the men with ease.
"How dare you???" Anika spoke with such a hatred tear forming eyes.
Jungkook was stunned. His mouth agape. His sword fell down.
"Wait...let me explain.." He couldn't. He couldn't find the right words to explain his situation.
But knowing Anika he relaxed his face as if he doesn't care.
"You didn't expect me to be tell you my identity on our first meeting knowing danger that lurking around me, do you?" Jungkook scoffed. He right! Anika knows that the Royal family wants to kill Jungkook in fear of becoming compitition for the Crown Prince. She is not that suprised but feeling betrayal.
"You are right, Your Highness! It was foolish of me to believe in people!! Thank you for reminding me!" Anika held her hands together and bowed her head, jungkook's heart panged seeing the lack of tenderness which Anika used to look at JJ with it. He knew that she liked JJ. He didn't wanted it to reveal it like this! First he became close to her to know about her but he doesn't know why she pulls his heart strings everytime they meet.
"Now let's talk about why you wanted to talk to me!" Jungkook cleared his throat hiding his disappointment.
"Let's move to save place first!" Jungkook held his horse's harness and extended his hand to her. So they both can ride same horse.
Before she could give her hand jungkook's men arrived at the scene.
"Your Highness! Are you okay??" Mingyu and eunwoo panicked checking Jungkook.
That's when they noticed Anika standing there.
They quickly fell on their knees bowing their heads.
"Greetings, Your Royal Highness!" They said in unison.
They didn't got any response and looked up to see Anika on eunwoo's horse.
"Lead the way, Your Highness!" Anika said holding the harness as the horse neighed without a single empression in her face.
Jungkook shook his head in disappointment in his friends and got on his horse. He rode his horse as Anika marched behind him.
Eunwoo and mingyu looked at each other dumbfounded.
"What just happened?" Eunwoo asked
"I think we are gonna get killed by His Highness!" Mingyu gulped as he got on his horse eunwoo also got on his horse.

Jungkook got down from the horse and gave his hand to Anika so she could get down but she jumped down on her own even wearing her heavy clothes.
"This is my palace! Don't be disappointed!" Jungkook said as Anika looked at the palace.
Ofcourse she knew. In her previous life! She knew that the emperor gave Jungkook the border village! It has poor conditions! Not more than 500 people live there! This village doesn't have river or any transport facilities! They have to walk through the mountains as the roads are not well in the condition.
