Episode 6: Steps in Time

Scene 1 – Return to Suthida's Home
Interior, Suthida's House – Night

The two enter Suthida's house, still visibly shaken by what happened. The atmosphere inside is calm, contrasting with what they just experienced. Suthida carefully closes the door, and Naya, nervous, starts pacing back and forth, still processing what occurred.

Naya:
(With a trembling voice)
"I... I still can't believe what happened. He could have hurt you, Suthida. I don't know how you managed to face that man... for me."

Suthida:
(Firm, but with a gentle tone)
"I'd do it a thousand times if needed, Naya. He has no right to treat you that way. And he never will again."

Suthida steps closer to Naya and, seeing the fragility in her eyes, touches her arm gently, trying to calm her. Naya stops pacing, her eyes shining with both fear and gratitude.

Naya:
(Amazed, but emotional)
"You took such a risk... I've never met anyone like you. Someone who would protect me like that. What did I do to deserve this?"

Suthida:
(Whispering, with a deep gaze)
"You deserve to be protected, Naya. You deserve to be treated with respect, with care... always. And I won't let anyone hurt you. Never again."

There is a palpable emotional tension between them. Suthida is close, and her words, although calm, almost sound like a declaration of love. Naya feels safe in a way she never has before, her eyes locked on Suthida's. There is an intensity there that she cannot ignore.

Naya:
(With an almost inaudible voice)
"Thank you, Suthida. Thank you for everything... I... I feel... good, safe, at peace with you, like I never have before."

Suthida:
(Softly, but with a serious tone)
"I will always be here for you, Naya. Always. As long as you need me... And maybe even after that, if you want."

Deeply moved by these words, Naya feels her heartbeat faster. She steps closer to Suthida, as if drawn by a stronger force. Naya embraces Suthida, the moment full of emotion, the hug long and firm. Naya's breath near Suthida's ear sends a shiver through her, almost making her lose control, but before anything more happens, Suthida, sensing Naya's vulnerability, gently pulls back slightly, maintaining respect for the situation.

Suthida:
(Returning to a practical tone, but still affectionate)
"Let's get some rest. You've been through enough today."

Naya, though emotionally moved, nods. They both know that something powerful is growing between them, but the time has not yet come to confront it.

Scene 2 - Interior, Lawyer's Office – Days Later – Afternoon

Naya and Suthida are seated in Pravit's office, Naya's lawyer. The atmosphere is formal, with files, papers, and computers on the desk. Pravit is explaining the final details of the divorce. Naya appears tense, but Suthida is beside her, giving her strength through subtle glances and gestures.

Pravit:
"I've sent all the paperwork. We have sufficient evidence, and the judge is already aware of the situation. Your husband will be summoned to court to contest it. From now on, he can't come near you without facing legal consequences."

Naya:
(Hesitant)
"But he... he has influence. I'm afraid he might manipulate the situation."

Suthida:
(Firmly)
"We won't let that happen, Naya. You have Pravit's support, and you have mine."

Pravit:
(Nodding)
"The court doesn't ignore evidence like this. Now it's a matter of time, but you're going to succeed. You have to trust."
