In the Charming Castle gardens, Chloe practices sword fighting with her father. She's the daughter of Cinderella and King Charming. She's also the younger sister of Chad.
Dramatic music plays.
They both grunted.
"Where are you going?" said King Charming, asking her.
Chloe grunts.
King Charming grunts. "Get back here!"
They grunted again.
"Gotcha now!" said Chloe.
They grunted a third time.
She beats her dad at sword fighting.
"No! No." said King Charming.
"Got ya!" said Chloe, taking off her mask.
He grunts. "Bet you didn't see that coming."
"Dad, that's cheating."
"No. That's delicious." He eats a snack.
Chloe chuckles.
"Don't be so serious. We signed you up for Swords and Shields, because it was supposed to be fun."
"Well, yeah, it is, but when I'm out there, I'm not just another competitor. I represent Cinderellasberg."
"You sound like your mother."
"Don't listen to him. Your father never cared about what other people think." said Cinderella, walking over to them.
"I don't have to. I'm charming."
"Oh, that's debatable." She chuckles.
Romantic music plays as King Charming kisses his wife's hand.
"Dad."
Cinderella hums.
"Mom!"

King Charming looks at his wife.
"Can you not?" said Chloe, looking at them.
"You know, this is the first song your mom and I ever danced to back when we were in school."
Cinderella chuckles. "We fell in love at Castlecoming."
"Yeah, I know. You tell me every time." said Chloe. "And I know you guys have a healthy relationship and all, but come on."
"And it's a good thing, too, or we wouldn't have been able to create this amazing family. I know you packed last night, but you think you might have room for one more pair of shoes?"
The box was opened, which revealed the glass shoes.
Chloe happily explains. "Mom! They're just like yours! But even cooler." She chuckles.
"You earned them, Chloe. You got straight A's last year." said Cinderella.
"And volunteered for the Auradon Historical Society," said King Charming.
"And the thing I'm most proud of is that you're such a good person. That's why you're a great princess, and why you'll make a great queen."
Chloe chuckles softly. "These are some big shoes to fill."
"Are you gonna try them on or what?"
They all chuckled while Chloe tried on her new shoes.
They were a reward for her. She was good at sports and a good person. So she was rewarded for it. At least, we learned about the Charming family. Not all hard work needs to be rewarded.
