Beyoncé brought our beautiful daughter into the world this morning at 2:04 AM.
Holly Jovanna Giselle Pete is finally here.
We're going to call her Jojo because hearing my mother's name all the time is too hard.
She's so small. 5 pounds 7 ounces.
She has a head full of hair and her placenta perm is LAYED.
Her hair is giving Nia Long in the 90s.
And she already looks just like Bey.
I can't believe I'm someone's mom.
Like there's a real baby sleeping in my arms right now and I made her with the love of my life.
I'm so proud of Beyoncé for powering through 9 hours of labor and bringing Jojo into the world.
It's bittersweet, though.
I wish my parents were here to see her.
"You okay, baby?" Bey asks me.
Even after pushing a baby through her birth canal, she's checking on me.
She loves me forreal.
"Yeah, I'm good just thinking about my parents." I admit honestly. "My mom would have been so excited to have a grandchild."
She grabs my hand and squeezes it gently.
"I wish I could tell her how much I love her daughter." She says softly making me smile.
My mother would like Bey a lot.
She would definitely be surprised, though, because she thought Tori and I were endgame.
I didn't have the heart to tell her we weren't.
