Ram came back inside and priya instantly started "I just said.."
"I forgot to give you the heating pad" He interrupted her and kept it next to her before turning around and leaving.
Priya sighed and used the heating pad to ease the pain. She decided not to bother him much here after.
She drifted to sleep in no time and woke up feeling a bit fresh as the pain was gone.
She freshened up and walked out of the room to only gasp. There were all types of chocolates placed on the kitchen slab and she went near it. There was a bill which revealed not only chocolates but icecreams and pads were bought. She quickly opened the freezer to find tubs of icecreams.
Her face lit up as she pulled out a chocolate tub and got a spoon before settling on the couch and putting on a show on tv.
She started eating while getting so engrossed in the show that she didn't realise when ram walked to her and sat down next to her.
"I didn't know what you like so I got all the chocolates and icecreams that were available" He said which made her still and look at him.
"Thanks" She mumbled and he added "Also, I ordered all types of pads as I didn't know what you use" He said signalling to the cover by the end of the couch.
Priya sighed "You didn't have to do all this.."
"I just thought you might need it" He said softly and she said "Thanks but here on don't do anything, I have and I can manage on my own"
With that said, she got up and went into the room with the tub and spoon.
He went behind her and found her on the bed eating her icecream while watching the show on her phone.
"You can watch in the living" His voice made her look up at him who was at the door.
Ram came in and said "What's wrong priya? Why are you trying to avoid me now?"
"Since we're only hooking up, I think we should just mind our own business until and unless we feel horny and need each other.."
Ram frowned "What? What's gotten into you?"
"I'm just being practical ram, someday we have to part our ways and.... And I don't want us to have any sort of relationship other than being hook up partners and you being my boss, it's for our own good" She said to which he clenched his jaws.
"But I'm your boyfriend goddamit" He said trying to control his voice.
"In the morning you asked me to not expect anything from you" She said and he pinched the bridge of his nose "Jesus!"
He then looked at her "I agree but that doesn't mean we have to behave like total strangers"
Her eyes teared up as he just yelled at her.
Ram's eyes softened the moment he saw her eyes filling up with tears.
"Kiddo!" He whispered under his breath as he sat down infront of her and cupped her face "Gosh, I'm sorry to yell at you.. I didn't mean to but come on you are making it difficult"
She swatted his hands away "I'm not, it's you who's making things difficult"
"Fine fine, just don't cry please" He said now wiping her tears which rolled down to her cheeks.
"I don't want to get attached to you and get hurt in the end, so please let me be" she cried moving his hands off her face.
Ram's heart hurt at that and he knew this girl was doing something to him right from day one.
