Two weeks pass by and ram dwelled into work during day time while he had sweet moments with priya during the nights.
He wanted to move past the horrible night but aashna barged into his cabin making him snap his head up from the file and grit his teeth "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I'm here because I'm pregnant... and the father of the child deserves to know this" She whispers the last part.
Ram froze at her words as it was hard to digest.
He got up from his seat "What?"
"I'm pregnant ram.." Aashna smiles with tears.
"Fuck" Ram cursed before pulling onto his hair.
He steps infront of her "Abort it aashna"
"What?"
"I don't want any child from you" He grits feeling a lump down his throat of the grave mistake he's done.
"I want this child..." Aashna says firmly.
"You can't do this to me Aashna" Ram glares hard at her.
"You wanted a family right? I'm giving you a family ram.... We're having a baby!"
"THIS IS ONLY BUSINESS AASHNA" Ram yelled on top of his lungs making her flinch but she glared at him "Don't fucking raise your voice at me. I'm bearing your child. He or She deserves the love of its father"
Only Priya flashes in his mind. Sweat bead forms on his forehead as he runs his fingers into his hair as he looks away.
"Even if you don't accept the baby, he/she will be a Kapoor & Singhania ram and now no one can stop the merger to happen" Aashna smirked.
"Now, I need to inform the grandparents" She smiled big while ram stopped her "No, listen Aashna.. don't tell it out to anyone yet.."
"Why? Is it because of your so called girlfriend? If it is, then she should accept that you're having a baby with your ex-wife and we can be the co-parents while you still be with her.." Aashna shrugged.
"It's not easy" Ram gritted.
"But she'll have to accept it if she wants to be with you.." Aashna shrugged "And, I want my parents as well as yours' to know about this" She said pointing to her belly.
Ram's eyes teared up as he looked down at her stomach. He always wished for a happy family. He always wanted a family but now when he's going to get one, even though they're divorced but when he's finally going to be a father... he doesn't wanted it to be with Aashna.
He for sure didn't want Aashna to bear his child anymore.
"Aashna, can we not tell anyone for a few months please?" Ram mumbled looking up at her.
"What? Why? Come on ram, just because you're shit scared of your so called girlfriend, then know that it's your mess and not mine. Just because you don't want her to leave you, you can't expect me to hide this from my parents" Aashna glared at him.
Ram sighed "Aashna, please! Just give me some time.."
"How much?"
"I don't know, but I'll let you know.."
"No! I'm sure you would take months even. I'm giving you just today.. tomorrow morning I'll tell my parents as well as yours" With that said, she walked out of his cabin leaving ram tensed.
Just then he received a text from priya "I've made you blueberry muffins, come home soon💋"
Ram's eyes teared up as he looked down at the message. What the hell has happened!
Just when he was getting to experience love, he's made a huge mistake. Such a bad one that he may lose her forever. He should have told her that morning itself but now.. what will he say to her? That he accidentally had sex with his ex-wife and he doesn't remember shit, now she ended up getting pregnant!
Ram slammed his hand against the table loudly and pushed down everything as he screamed in anger. Thankfully his cabin was soundproof.
He reached home in the evening and found priya chuckling as she watched a movie in their room.
Once she glanced at him by the door, she rushed to him and hugged him "I missed you"
Ram gulped as he slowly embraced her and closed his eyes.
Priya who felt him different, parted and looked up at him as he looked so sad and pale. She frowned "Are you okay?"
"Hmm" he gave her a faint smile which made her frown even more "Ram?"
"I... I...." He was at a loss of words. He was hell scared that she'll leave him the moment he spills it all out.
Aashna played a very dirty game with him. She drugged him! Used him! Took advantage of his state! Priya even tried to stop him, but it's all fucking his fault!
A tear slipped down his cheek making priya panic "Ram? What's wrong???" She cupped his face and wiped his cheek "What happened? Please don't scare me, say something"
"I'm sorry.." He mumbled.
"Ram please tell me clearly what's wrong? You've been behaving strangely for some days now. What's wrong?" She asked softly yet worriedly.
"I should have listened to you.." He mumbled.
Priya looked around his eyes "What you should've listened? What is it?"
"I swear Priya I didn't do anything, it was all her. She-she drugged me" Ram cried and tears streamed down his face.
Priya was shocked to see him cry badly and he pulled her to his chest, as he hugged her tightly and cried into her nape.
She rubbed his back gently and whispered "Ram please tell me clearly, you're scaring me..."
"Aashna, she drugged me that night..." Ram mumbled into her nape as his tears continuously rolled down.
