FEELINGS THAT COME BACK
ARE FEELINGS THAT NEVER LEAVE
Frank OceanOUTER BANKS PARADISE ON EARTH
Two Tribes. One IslandDay 7
Blair wakes up early in the morning. The sun's rays shine in bright tones through the white curtains and make the room shine brightly. It's actually a morning like any other. After Conrad and Blair surfed yesterday and the day before, something completely different is going on today. The storm Agatha moved over OuterBanks at night and this is what the area looks like.
While the Kooks have survived it somewhat better. Because of the generators, the electricity is running normally and everything has remained intact at the beach house. Nothing happened. Everything is the same. The neighbors collect the individual branches on the street or in their driveways and gardens. But as long as the power is running, everything is fine.
It doesn't take much time then Figure eight looks like nothing happened again. As if the storm never existed. People lean back in their sun loungers by the pool and treat themselves to a drink. Hard work. Be allowed to them.
No one thinks about how the Pogues might be doing.Because they got it much worse. A fallen tree blocked the road and there are broken branches of trees everywhere and the worst. The electricity masts are broken. No electricity. Nothing works. You would have to be Kook. But as a pogue you have it harder. It's like Agatha is against the Pogues. Make their lives hell again.
Blair knows nothing about it. She only knows how it goes in Figure Eight. The rich side of the island. For some, probably the better one. She walks along the street of Figure Eight and looks around in a good mood. The sun shines beautifully in the sky and the sea is also perfect for surfing. 🏄🏼♀️
After a few minutes, Blair arrives at her destination. The gate stands up so that she can go through and runs the long driveway up to the house. There are trees and palm trees all around and when Blair passes the house she hears voices in the garden. Immediately, her smile widens a little.
A gate to the garden. Blair walks through it and sees her best friend Sarah talking to a little girl.
"Sarah!" Blair calls and walks up to her. "Hey."
Sarah turns to her. "Oh hey. There you are, Bills." They hug each other briefly and Sarah points to the little girl next to her. "Could you do us a favor?"
"Which one?" Blair raises an eyebrow. Sarah tilts her head a little and points over to a boat that is half sunk in the water. "The girl has forgotten her stuffed rabbit in the boat and is too scared to get him out again. Could you please do that?"
