William Afton. A man of intelligence, a cold and calculated mind. Tall, British and probably the best man to be a business partner with. University educated, very high grades all around. The perfect man for stone cold business.

Henry Emily. A soft spoken, well mannered man with too much empathy. Relies on others in an emotional sense. A very smart American man, attended the same University as William in the same robotics course. They say opposites attract, and they certainly did in this case. William was just the man Henry was looking for in a friend aspect.

Henry was just the man William was looking for.

...
"You sick bastard! How dare you! You took a childs life! My child no less!"
"Henry, let's think rationall-"
"Rationally?!"

The two men face each other in Henry's study. The blonde is distraught, tears spilling down his cheeks as sobs wrack his entire body making it hard to breathe or even think straight. His voice is broken, strained with the pain only a father who's lost everything can muster. A pain only a man who's now all alone can give. William on the other hand is perfectly calm and collected, just like usual. People have always admired him for staying cool in stressful situations, and now is no exception. His voice is smooth, calming like a lullaby. He shows no anger - or remorse.

"Yes, rationally. I did it for science, besides.. That child was no good for you. We all knew how much she was weighing down on you."
"Weighing down on me?! My god- William you have kids yourself! Think for gods sake! She was a child!"
Henry's voice increases an octave, it now reaches raspy and hoarse. This argument has been happening for hours, yet it's gotten nowhere. He sobs harder, burying his tear stained face into his hands. William stands perfectly still, a hint of amusement carefully lace in the cold web of emotions that lie in his eyes, before he plasters something synthetic onto his expession. Sympathy and regret. He reaches his hand slowly out to Henry, the palm resting on the other mans shaking shoulder.
"Henry.. Darling, I know it's hard now but you'll see what I mean when this all blows over.. Besides, what's done is done. I'm the only one you can trust now, the only one you have.." His voice is sickly sweet, but It's exactly what someone needs when in a never ending spiral of grief, even if its caused by the man comforting them.
"Don- Don't call me that. Don't you dare! You killed my child! My Charlie!"
"Henry. Listen to me," Williams voice becomes stern, his soft touch now turning into a vice grip as he commands Henry's attention, trying to snap him out of his panic attack, "I know I did wrong, I know I'm a brutal murderer who deserves nothing.. But will you please give me a goddamn chance? If you leave me, do you realise how utterly fucking alone you'll be? Charlie's gone now, there's nothing we can do to bring her back. Your ex-wife certainly isn't going to come running back to you either, especially after you getting your child killed in gross negligence!" He's whipser shouting now, an edge to his voice. Henry can't bare to speak, but in his own panic the words set in, a horrific sick feeling grips his stomach in a vice grip as he continues to sob.
"My fau- My fault?! How is this my fault? You killed her!"
"If you had kept an eye on her instead of that stupid fucking puppet you wouldn't have even been in this issue! Even if it was me, this stems from you! None of this is my fault, I only carried out the job I was set out on! It just to happened to be Charlie!"

Finally, silence takes over the room. Henry's sobs are quiet, but they're notcable as his body shakes and writhes in the utter misery that is his life. He's letting the words sink in and even though he knows it's mostly not his fault, he can't help but agree with William. After all, William is all he's ever had, ever will have. His brain can't take any more, so it decides to agree. It gives in.
"My g- My god.. You're right.. It's all my fault, you could've been anyone.. It was just a coincidence it was you.."
Williams eyes light up slightly at those words; Henry's finally broken under him. All William needs to do now is continue this little moment, and Henry will never leave him.
"Exactly.. I'm willing to put all this behind us, though. My opinion hasn't changed on you and I'll help you through this guilt. We can work on this together, this can be beneficial to us and Freddy's. I'm here, Henry. You don't need to be afraid anymore," His grip loosens from Henry's shoulder, his arms moving to wrap around him in a sweet gesture which is so out of place but Henry can't help but lean into it. He's affection starved and broken, he's been needing this for so long and he isn't going to let it get by him like this. No way. He sobs into Williams chest whilst he feels the cold, calloused hands rub at his back; grounding him.
"You mean it, Will?"
"Of course, love.. I'll always be here for you.. I'll always come back.."
