Chapter 10 - Reinforcements needed!

The sun starts to set on another day of training. Kama sits at the very tip of the tallest tree in training ground 10, watching the sun go down.

"Kama! We're getting dinner!" Asuma's voice yells up from ground, hoping Kama can hear. Kama sighs before falling backwards, through the leaves.

"WOAH!" Ino yells, seeing Kama just falling to the ground, head first. Before he gets to the ground, he twists his body, landing perfectly in a crouched pose.

He then stands up and starts walking to the rest of his team. Asuma is smirking as he starts to mock Kama. "Heh, it took you quite a while to get this exercise down. I mean it took loudmouth two tries and slacker took a day, but you took a three days."

Kama looks at Asuma before shaking his head. "I got it down, basically on the second day, I spent today perfecting it. I wanted to be able to use my chakra in other places of my body as well as I was using it with my feet, while using it with my feet."

Asuma looks shocked for a second before he sighs. "If I'd have known that's what you were doing then I could've had these two doing that as well instead of the stamina exercises I was having them do."

Ino looks shocked, while Shika sighs in disappointment. "We could've been doing that instead of these terrible exercises!!"

Asuma looks at the two of them before shrugging. "You both needed more stamina anyway, so if anything this was for the best." Before the other two can protest. "Welp! For doing so well the last few days, let's got to Yakiniku-Q"

They all follow Asuma out of the training ground, all in varying levels of disappointment in their sensei. "Troublesome." Shikamaru mutters in disappointment.

The next day comes around, Team Asuma now stands in front of the Hokage, ready to get their next D-rank mission.

"Team 10 reporting in, ready for another D-rank, Hokage-sama" Asuma says, respectfully.

Hiruzen smiles at the team. "This will be your what, 10th mission, well done." He then pulls out the scroll with all of the current D-ranks on.

"Thank you Hokage-sama, we've been going steady so far." Asuma replies.

"I can see that, I'm assuming it's because you're training." The Hokage looks up with a smile.

"Of course." Asuma says, itching to pull out a cigarette.

Hiruzen looks back at the scroll of D-ranks, noticing one that should be good enough. "Ah, this should d-." However, before he can continue, a poof of smoke appears on his desk. Out of the smoke, a small brown pug, wearing a blue jacket and a blue Konoha hitai-ate on the top of his head. "Huh, Pakkun? What are you doing here?"

The pug, now known as Pakkun, looks at the Hokage. Then to the shock of the Genin in the room, a deep, gruff voice comes out of the cute dog. "Kakashi sent me. There's been a problem in the mission Team 7 have gone on."

"Team 7? .... Naruto?" Kama mutters, listening to the conversation.

"Hm?" Asuma voices out, hearing Kama.

"What's that, Sensei?" Ino whispers Asuma, still shocked by Pakkun.

"Ah, I guess you guys don't know." Asuma whispers back. "That's a ninken, ninja hounds, like the ones the Inuzuka clan have but this one is apart of a group of summons, currently owned by a Jonin called Kakashi."
