THE WHARF

After another mayhem weekend of airsoft shooting, keeping quiet about the dagger to his friends and brother. Also he didn't wanna head back to London just yet, Keo best thought he let the robbery settle down. Meanwhile in London Carl was nursing his bruised arm, he was still stressing out. Making phones calls to B.I.T.C.H office to see if madam set him up. Finally getting put through to madam Carl asked her in annoyed tone, "Just wanna ask you something, how many contracts did you put on the hidden treasure your after. No more games - I'll like a straight answer.... Please!" Madam laughed down the phone at him before saying, "Your the only one, I am not one for dishing out million pound contracts to everyone you know, don't disappoint me. You and your family be dead." Carl choked on his reply, "I am not in the habit of letting my clients down. So you will get your million pound treasure. I have the dagger already." Madam eyes widen as she answered, "Well that's excellent news - I see I pick well. Just randomly why did you asked me if I took out a second contact on this job?" Carl took a breath and answered, "No reason just wanna make sure." Madam gave a puzzled reply, "Oh OK is that all?" Carl quickly replied, "Yes that's all." Once he finished his sentence the line went dead. In the office with madam who had just placed the receiver down stand back in her large chair and said to herself, "Mmm I think his lying to me." She then quickly buzzed her receptionist, within five seconds her phone rang, she answered it and a voice said over the phone, "Yes madam - what do you request?" Madam said aggressively, "Send for Terry I wish to speak to him." Her receptionist answered, "OK madam I shall call him." Madam then hung backup and sat in her chair rocking. Carl paced up and down his lounge and scratch his head, before saying to himself, "What to do next? Clearly his a freelancer. Guess I have to head to Deptford Dockyard and wait." Carl started to pack a large duffle with clothes and accessories. Back with madam Terry just arrived at the office where he said, "You call for me?" Madam nodded and said, "I did, setup my Edinburgh offices, hire ten men to met us their, armed and geared up to hunt and climb the mountains of Holyrood mountain park." Terry answered, "OK madam, when are we going?" Madam quickly snapped, "We be flying Wednesday afternoon!" Terry bowed and answered, "I shall book and make arrangements. See you in couple of days at Gatwick." Madam said, "Prefect now be gone, your wasting my weekend." Terry quickly shuffled away. Monday morning Keo started to pack a backpack with change of clothes and accessories. Packing the dagger away safely also in the backpack. Put his bandana on he then started to gather his riding gear to get ready to set of to London Deptford.

Arriving in London around about lunchtime, Keo was feeling hungry so he pulled up to fish and chip bar along the river Thames. Ordering a large cod and chip with extra salt and white vinegar, the smell of piling hot cod gave Keo a flashback of Whitstable seafront where he had his first boat adventure on a cold autumn's day out along with a portion of fish and chip for tea with his mum and dad, which was also in a greasy filled old newspaper when he was thirteen. Seating on his bike seat to eating from the greasy old newspaper with his silly little folk thingy you get given, just makes him grins to himself. Got twenty minutes passed while he watched the boats, he watched a old tug boat chugging along the river, watching it dock quite away down quayside. Firing his bike back up Keo decided to ride to the quay where the tug boat had moored up. Took a few minutes to get there once arriving he placed his helmet over the bar handle slipping keys in pocket and started to head towards the old tug boat he saw a old man on deck. Keo called out, "Alright!" The silvered haired old man slowly turns around, he was bitting on a old sailors wooden pipe. He was also wearing a olive-drape body warmer yellow water proof trousers a thick and furry navy cardigan underneath his body warmer and a sailors cap. He looked over the starboard sides of his boat, where he then nodded his cap and said, "Alright sonny, you lost?" Keo called backup and said, "Nah I'm not lost, just not sure where to looking for something." The old sailors gave a belly laugh and replied, "What are ya after then sonny?" Keo smiled and said, "It's an old sunken thing, it was rumoured it sunken just of Deptford Dockyard, but I can't find the dockyard." The old sailor replied as he tossed down a mooring rope, "Could you kindly tie me up, I help you out with your sunken thing. I think I know what ya after." Keo caught the rope and started to pull it taught and looped it and tied a knot around the metal mooring turnbuckle. The old sailor said, "Cheers, do you wanna come aboard?" Keo hesitated before he gave a answer, "Err. OK?" The sailor answered, "I'll pass down the ladder if goto the end of me boat." Keo nodded and walked to the end within moments he dropped the rope ladder down. When he reached the end of the tug boat he noticed the boats name, 'Red Dragons' he was thinking, "know I'm confused I thought that sunk!" Scrambling up the swinging rope ladder, Keo finally reached the deck, where the old sailor was still puffing on his wooden pipe where he asked, "So sonny, what are you looking for?" Keo leant on the boats hand rails while he started to explain, "Well it's like this, I've been reading about an old fifteenth century boat that sunken just of Deptford dockyard, just wanna see if I can find it, that's kinda it?" The sailor said, "The Deptford dockyard is this lock, this where they use to build armed boats in the fifteenth century, why are asking about this century, ain't it before your time?" Keo replied, "Yeah I know, just trying found some details about a certain ship which was rumoured it was carrying a special jewelled artifact." Sailor smiled and said, "Arr I see, what was the ship called that was moving this artifact?" Keo said, "This going to be confusing, the ship I'm after is the 'Red Dragon' and yours is called 'Red Dragons' This is a very random coincidence I think." The sailor said, "Do you want a brew, I can help you on your request, you wanna go below deck?" Keo gave a puzzled worried response, "Yeah OK then; lead the way sir." Sailor got up from his deck rocking chair and said, "Follow me, but the way my name is Earl Clifford." Keo laughed then said, "I've heard that name before." They both started to head to under deck down the creaky ladders.
