The ninja were all training. Jay was deflecting weapons, Cole was practising on dummies, Kai was practising his Spinjitzu, and Zane and Aurora were meditating. But Zane was meditating in the middle of the courtyard and Aurora was on the decking to not be in the way. 

Aurora couldn't concentrate, the boys made stupid noises when they trained which were off-putting. She heard the sliding door open, indicating that Sensei or Nya had walked outside to meet them, probably Sensei though.

Suddenly, Zane lifted his head and stood up. Firstly, he jumped in front of Jay. The shocked noise is what caused Aurora to look up at what was going on. She watched as Zane then took Cole's scythe and used it himself to attack the training dummies. Finally, he decided to use Spinjitzu. This froze the training area as he moved around causing Kai to slip. She thought this was funny.

"This roof isn't big enough for the four of us."

"Correction: This roof isn't big enough for him."

"It's like he's in his own world," Jay spoke last, before raising his voice, "I BET HE CAN'T EVEN HEAR US!"

Aurora stood up to accompany Sensei to meet with the three complaining ninja. 

"Sensei, Zane's... weird." Kai, so is your hair but no one is talking about that now are they?

"What is weird? Someone who is different or someone who is different than you?"

Cole then spoke, "No, Sensei. He's 'weird' weird." Aurora guessed at the silence that they were all flashbacking on the times Zane had been 'weird'. 

She didn't think Zane was 'weird', just different but so are most people.

Kai broke the silence, "We like the guy. He's really smart. He's just...," He sighed, "a little off sometimes."

"Zane is a brother and brothers are often different. I should know."

Suddenly, the gong went off and the boys in blue, black and red ran to answer the door. They were talking to the postman as Aurora stood next to Zane. No words were exchanged but Zane felt happier at the comforting gesture. 

"Hey, Zane, Rory. How come you guys never hear anything from your parents?

Aurora answered first, knowing it was a sensitive topic for Zane, "I never knew mine, I grew up in an orphanage."

"I don't remember my parents. I've been an orphan all my life."

Kai spoke again, "You mean you've never had a home?" Zane just shook his head. These boys were being insensitive.

"The Monastery is your home now, both of you." Aurora smiled at him but Zane just walked away. She knew better than to follow him, poor boy needed space.

In Wildwood Forest, Skales showied a fellow Hypnobrai that he hypnotised Cole, "I can't believe you hypnotized one of the ninja. Does the General know?"

"Of course not. He's been put under the control of Lloyd and I plan to use it for my best interest." Skales spoke.

The General then comes into view and begins to approach the duo. The Hypnobrai soldier stalks away leaving the General with his second-in-command.

"Everyone works while you two slack. As my second-in-command, I expect more from you, Skales." 

"Yes, General," the General goes to slither away," General, you know I am most loyal to you, but I must question this childish agenda. The ninja have stolen our staff yet you instruct your army to make this playhouse for Lloyd? Snakes don't belong in trees."
