Aurora had a restless night's sleep. Her bed was very uncomfortable but she was glad she wasn't sleeping on one of the bunkbeds in the boys' room. She stretched before dragging herself out of bed and changed into her gi using Spinjitzu.  

She was also happy she went to bed earlier than everyone else, as she would have gotten more sleep. Suddenly, a gong sound rattled through the ship, signalling that Sensei had woken the ninja. She left her room and opened the door to the boys' shared one.

Sensei spotted her first, greeting her with a smile before he hit the gong again. This is what woke the ninja up. The boys began groaning and moving around to block out the noise.

Kai realised that he couldn't get back to sleep, so he sat up and jumped off his top bunk. "Okay okay, we're up. But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" He yawned and tried to open the blinds, but they just fell off.

"You call that a rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress." Cole spoke next. Aurora tried to ignore it though as she was still upset about him forgetting her yesterday.

"We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters I guess we lost track of time. Since the Serpentine burned down our monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our heads..." Jay cut himself off as he placed his toothbrush in his mouth which resulted in him spitting and hacking out sand. 

"What is our lesson today, Sensei? Mastering the Strike of the Scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of—" Zane was also cut off as the floorboards below him broke and he fell through, coughing as the dust entered his lungs. Aurora stood behind the ninja as Sensei answered Zane's question, "I think today's lesson will be chores."

"Chores?!" 

"Sensei you can't be serious." Aurora finally revealed her presence which shocked everyone. Cole quickly recovered from the shock and continued Aurora's thought, "Ninja fight, Sensei! They do not clean."

"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." He hit the gong once more before exiting the room. Cole helped Zane out of the hole as Kai grumbled, "This place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up."

Jay walked over to Kai with a knowing look, "Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" The rest of the ninja smirked understanding what Jay was on about.

Once the boys had changed into their gis, everyone split up to work on different parts of the room. Aurora had somehow been split off from the others and had to work with Cole which wouldn't have been an issue but she was quite petty so his comment yesterday annoyed her. She was brought back to reality when Cole started using Spinjitzu so Aurora followed suit. They cleaned the room and carried the junk outside the Bounty to set up a Garage Sale using Spinjitzu. As soon as they had finished, Cole went to high-five the girl but she ran back inside the continue clearing. This confused the boy as he thought they were friends now.

Meanwhile, Kai and Zane were cleaning a different room. Zane used his ice shurikens to freeze the room and Kai used his sword to melt the ice which cleaned the cobwebs. They finished the room off by using Spinjitzu.

Afterwards, Cole and Kai attempted to fix the electrical unit by bashing it with a hammer. Jay walked into the room and noticed their struggles. He used his nunchucks to jumpstart the generator which made the electricity work. However, Cole and Kai hadn't seen Jay walk into the room so they believed they had turned the lights on.

Lastly, all ninja were working on fixing the main sail and deck.

While waiting for Sensei and Nya's return, the ninja decided to play video games. The boys were anyway, Aurora sat next to Zane watching them play. She was too invested to notice the subtle glances Cole was sending her way trying to figure out what he did to upset her.
