- SANA -
The door to Tzuyu's room slammed close right before us while we were left sitting by the table in shock.
"Did I say something wrong?" Nayeon unnie worriedly asked. We all looked at her not knowing what to say.
"Bring all the drinks and snacks in my room, we need to talk," Jihyo ordered while looking at Tzuyu's door which we all followed right away.
-----
"About what happened earlier, I think we may have touched a sensitive topic," Jihyo exclaimed full of uncertainty on why Tzuyu acted like that. We are now huddled inside her room's sofa that's situated in front of her own karaoke.
"Hmm could it be something about school? Or about Taiwan, perhaps?" Dahyun guessed while holding her chin with furrowed brows.
"So, what do we do?" Jeongyeon opened while giving out cans of alcohol to us.
"First off, we must apologize to her," Jihyo stated.
"I don't know why, but my gut feeling is telling me there's something suspicious going on," I said.
"Gut feeling? Is she being fruity too?" Chaeyoung asked me innocently. All of them looked at me except for Momo who's probably clueless of what's going on before the eldest couple rolled on the carpeted floor bursting out of laughter.
"Chaeng that's not how that word works, please don't ever use it again," Jihyo shook her head, clearly disappointed.
"Why? Doesn't 'fruity' mean 'suspicious'? Then what did you mean earlier, Sana unnie?" the confused cub asked me again making me chuckle.
"Forget what I said earlier, so what's the plan?" I diverted back everyone's attention. I sipped on my can of alcohol.
"Like I said, we're going to apologize. Then, we'll observe and wait for her to open up. We shouldn't force her to share anything. Understood?" Jihyo declared. We all agreed and went to Tzuyu's room to apologize first thing before we get ourselves drunk. Well, except for Mina and Dahyun because they're not in good terms with alcohol and Chaeyoung because Mina doesn't let her drink too much.
"Tzuyu..." our bunny unnie called softly while knocking on the door. We are all currently standing in front of the door which the tall maknae opened a little before peeking on the gap. Is her room still that messy that she doesn't want us to see even a small bit of it?
"Sorry for disturbing you, but can we talk for a bit?" Nayeon unnie continued. Gladly, she nodded and stepped out of her room. We all settled by the living room with Tzuyu avoiding our gazes.
"I'm so sorry about my behavior earlier," Tzuyu said with a sigh while staring at the floor and fidgeting her hands.
"We would also like to apologize if we ever offended you or made you feel uncomfortable on something. We should have been more careful and not pushed on getting too personal earlier. Besides, we're still technically strangers living in the same roof so we can understand what you must have felt," Jihyo spoke on our behalf.
"Apology accepted, I'm sorry again unnies," she replied.
"Apology accepted too, so are we good now?" I held her left shoulder because she's sitting on my right but she suddenly flinched making me confused.
"Oops, sorry. I guess you're not a fan of physical interactions?" I immediately retrieved my hand and scratched the back of my head. I gave a subtle worried look at the rest of the girls.
Uh oh, I hope I didn't do anything wrong.
"I-I-I'm- It's just that- sorry," she whispered.
"No, it's okay, don't worry about it," I quickly answered.
