- JEONGYEON -

"She haven't been around for about two weeks now."

Jihyo greeted me with this news as soon as I opened the door after I got home from work. I saw everyone settled in the living room and guessed we would be having a meeting.

"How about her lease contract? She still has about six months left and it's almost time for the monthly dues, you know?" asked Dahyun.

"Jina unnie said she paid for the entire year in advance. She haven't terminated the contract too."

What the heck?! She's rich?

"That could mean she might still come back. But what if she just let the contract expire and leave us without a word?" Sana grimaced.

"I don't think she'd abandon us like that," and I hope I'm right.

"Let me check her room real quick," I got up from the sofa and got the master key from the key holder before heading straight to Tzuyu's room.

The girls just stared at me as I was trying to open her door but to my surprise, it wasn't even locked.

"Tzuyu, are you there?" I knocked on the door but no one replied.

"What's wrong? Why are you knocking?" Nayeon approached me.

"It's not locked."

Several hurried steps was heard after what I said and soon enough, they're all behind me. I opened the door slowly and was once again swallowed by the darkness of the room.

I roamed my eyes around and noticed that the stack of papers on her table was now gone. The pin board in her walk-in closet came to my mind so I checked if it was still there but just like the manuscripts, there was no sign it was even there.

However, what confused me is that she still has her clothes and other personal stuffs that she brought when she moved in.

Maybe she did left but she only took whatever information she have. Why would she leave the clothes if she could just carry them too though?

No other unusual things caught my eye so I went out and joined the girls who were waiting for me in the kitchen with the dinner they prepared before I even arrived home.

"The documents are all gone but her things are still in there so I think she'd still be back."

"Uh hi?" I almost jumped on my seat when the back door behind me opened revealing Tzuyu in her usual all-black outfit.

"TZUYU!!!" the girls except for Mina and I ran to her trapping her in a bone-crushing hug.

"Welcome back," her eyes landed on me and for the first time, she smiled.

"I need to tell you something. Can we meet in my room in ten minutes? Y-you can bring the food too if you want," she said breaking the hug.

"This new Tzuyu is weird but I like it better than the Tzuyu a few weeks ago," Chaeyoung stated after Tzuyu's door shut close gaining a chuckle from us.

We quickly arranged the food so we could carry them safely in the room along with the utensils. Tzuyu let us in as soon as we got to her door. She's already out of her clothes earlier and is now on her pajamas. The food was arranged carefully on the floor and we all settled around it.

"About that night, I know I've left you a lot of questions..." Tzuyu started.

"We do have but if you're uncomfortable about talking about it, we're more than willing to wait for you. Don't feel too pressured, kid," I said while giving her a thumbs up.
