Previously On The Eternal Burden:
For centuries, I have lived in secrecy, but everything changed when Stefan made the decision to disregard the risks involved. Elena, a dead ringer for Katherine, captured his attention. Their affection for Katherine isn't authentic, and Damon is adamantly determined to bring her back.
Just yesterday, I worked with Damon to get the journal back so he can open the tomb and free Katherine but all I know is he's about to be very disappointed but that's when I'll confess my truth well at least some of it...
Amid these chaotic events, I think I'm still being stalked by an enigmatic European vampire who wants my magic, and I've had recurrent dreams featuring three rings of fire and much more. Could this be a warning or a message?
My name is Nataleea Labelle, and I'm bound by a curse that has forced me to keep a low profile for centuries. Now, I find myself caught in the middle of this supernatural drama web, with no choice but to fight for survival or find a way to end the chaos before it consumes us all.
Today holds promise - no sign of the recurring dream. I find myself relieved, seeing it as a sign of progress or a positive step forward. This gives me hope to leave the nightmare behind and forge ahead with optimism.
My phone is buzzing uncontrollably as I am in the shower. Filled with intrigue I hurry out of the shower and look to see a barrage of messages from Stefan, pleading for my help. In a rush, I quickly changed into some low-rise jeans, and a camisole, and grabbed Damon's leather jacket before heading to the Salvatore house. Upon arrival, I notice Damon deep in thought, holding the journal.
"Good morning," I greet Damon, sitting beside him. "I've been on the receiving end of Stefan's constant messages, too. Have you seen him today?" I inquire, my words laced with curiosity.
Damon glances up from the journal, a flicker of irritation in his eyes. "No, I haven't. Stefan's probably off brooding somewhere," he replied, his tone laced with mild annoyance.
Stefan bursts in, panting anxiously, "Anna took Elena!"
Damon looks up from the journal, meeting Stefan's gaze sarcastically. "Yes, I got that from your 600 voicemails."
Stefan paces, visibly panicked. "But Damon, I searched every street in town all night long! What if your blood hasn't taken effect yet?"
Damon smirks, "At least you know you'll see her again one way or another."
Stefan pleads, "Please, Damon, I need your help. You know Anna, you must know where she lives! Tell me, please."
