You see Edmund right there talking to Aslan. Peter is on your side and he calls for Susan and Lucy. The girls come outta the tent and a huge smile appears in their faces when they see taht Edmund has finally arrived since he was left by White Witch. Lucy, so excited, screams for him, calling Edmund and Aslan's attention.
Edmund and you haven't talked since he betrayed all of you.
He and Aslan finishes their conversation and come to meet you.
- What is done, is done. There is no need to talk to Edmund about what's passed. - says Aslan.
Aslan leaves. Lucy and Susan give a hug in Edmund.
- Are you alright? - asks Susan.
- I'm a little tired. - he asnwers.
- Get some sleep. - says Peter. - And try not to wander off. - he smiles.
Edmund smiles back
- Ok. But first... Can we talk, in private? - he looks at you.
You just nod.
The guys leaves you both alone.
With the head down and the hands on the pockets, he looks a little shy, just like you. He gets closer and looks at you.
- Forgive me. Please! - he says.
A tear drops from your eye, rolling down your face.
Edmund clears it up.
- Yes, I forgive you! - you say, smiling.
He looks you in the eyes and caresses your face with his two hands.
- I missed you so much!
- Me too. - you say.
He gently kisses your cheek and you give him a hug. You both stays like this for some minutes.
Nothing never was more peaceful than this and, deep inside, you know that in his arms is the best place to be.
