--------------------------------------------------------------
You are a telmarine since you were born. But, to be honest, you like to be seen by everyone as a true narnian, nor telmarine.
You are a close friend of Caspian, so he always invites you to make some company to him in Cair Paravel.
Now, you find yourself sleeping, when you wake up scared, jumping from the bed, because of some screams and loud talkings.
- What is happening? Is there a party outside? - you say to yourself, rubbing your eyes.
You get out of bed, with dificulty, because you're so tired. You look by the window and see everybody happy and celebrating. Centaurs, fauns, minotaurs, Caspian and so so many others screaming: The Just is back!!!
- Wait... What? King Edmund is here? Already? - you think out loud.
You get changed and go outside.
----------------------------------------------------
Two months go by and you have not had a proper conversation with Edmund. You always wanted to know him personally and have the kind of friendship you have with Caspian, or even more. But Edmund is always so busy with the things of Narnia and everything else that whenever you meet, you look at each other, smiling shyly, sometimes saying "Hello", and that's all.
Caspian decides to teach you how to wield a sword and how to use it, something you always wanted to learn. But he says it will be gradually because he, now and then, is pretty busy. Moreover, he is the King of Narnia. Then, you move to Cair Paravel, just for a few months.
On your first evening of your stay, something makes you a little puzzled. During dinner (you sitting to the left of Caspian and Edmund sitting right) you notice that Edmund looks at you now and then, when the three are not talking. But every time you raise your eyes from the plate, he looks away.
~Next day...~
You wake up early and decides to get a ride with one of Caspian's horses (you have his permission). The weather isn't cool but you don't care.
Minutes passes and it starts to rain. You were in the middle of the woods. You decide to come back but, suddenly the horse gets scared by something and you fall down from it. You hit your head on a rock and faints.
When you wake up, you find yourself laying in your bed. You get startled a little when you see you're not alone.
- It's ok. It is just me. - says Edmund, with soft voice. He is beside your bed, sitting in a chair, doing something on your forehead.
- What happened? - you ask.
- Hours ago, I went outside looking for you, and I saw one of Caspian's horses running from the woods. I knew it was you, because you were missing. So when the horse reached me, I mounted it and I went looking for you. You were on the ground, soaked by the rain, and with your forehead injured.
- Ouch!!! - you complain because it hurts.
- Sorry! - he says.
- I fell off the horse. I think he was startled by something. Maybe some animal, whatever.
- I imagined.
- Thank you for taking care of the injured. It is very kind of you. But you need not do so, there are people here own for this type of service. - you say to him.
- I know very well. But I just want to do it. It is a pleasure!
His eyes meet yours. He starts to get closer and closer, but the moment is interrupted with a nock on the door.
- Thank Aslan you're ok! - Caspian enters, talking to you, with a relieved smile.
- Yes! Oh, and Edmund! - you say.
- So, I need to take he now. We need to resolve some things, Ed. - Caspian says.
- Ok. - he says.
Both leave your bedroom.
Then, Edmund returns.
He comes close to you, looks to your lips for some seconds, but then turns the gaze to your forehead, kissing it gently.
Without saying one word, he goes away and closes the door, leaving you with a silly smile on your face.
