It's been a year since The Power of Two ended, and Golf Ball won the final season of BFDI. Since then, she's used her power to make huge advancements in science that were once thought impossible, with her partner Tennis Ball. Ever since the show ended, the cast haven't seen GB and TB at all, although TB has kept in touch with quite a few of his former teammates and friends, mainly Basketball and Pen.
Meanwhile, Firey and Leafy haven't had it as easy on their version of Dream Island, if you can even call it that. In fact, rumours are that Leafy died in a storm and Firey used the remains of their shack to build a boat to make it home. Or at least, that's what Leafy told everyone when they recovered her, well, the first part anyway. How do they know Firey is still alive? Well, after they recovered Leafy, they tried recovering Firey, and it said 'not dead', so that explains itself.
Another thing on everyone's mind was Coiny and Pin. It was clear that something was going on between them, but people were unsure what the hell it could've been. They had recently been a lot more flirty with each other, and people (especially their fellow Team8ers) had their suspicions that they had become more than friends, but they unanimously agreed not to say anything until they made it official themselves, which was probably a good idea.

Leafy had been a recluse ever since she was recovered, after all, everyone knew the bond her and Firey shared, and she just wanted to see him again. However, one day, Leafy would get the surprise of her life.
She was in her room, thinking about Firey, as usual. She hadn't eaten for about a day, she didn't even go to dinner at the hotel like she usually would. Every day she would go down for dinner, and then type Firey's name into the recovery center, but every time it would come up with the same message, 'not dead'. On the one hand, she was happy that he was still alive, but she was becoming impatient. "Where is he?" she would shout every time, wondering when he was gonna come back home. But she didn't even have the energy for that anymore, after all, she hadn't slept for a week.
But then, she heard a knock at the door. At first, she thought it was just Two pestering her about not coming to dinner, and decided not to answer it, but then she considered that it might be Firey. After all, she recognised the knock pattern, and she became more sure that it was him. She walked up to the door, and...
"Hi, Leafy."
Firey. He was back. Leafy immediately ran into a hug with him and made sure not to let go. "Don't worry Firey, I'm wearing fireproof spray." she said in a relieved manner. The duo maintained that hug for a good 5 minutes, before a tannoy announcement said that the dining area was now open for dinner.

Yep, this is what I've been cooking up. I don't know what the release schedule will be but expect it to be better than Objects Forever's nonexistent schedule (seriously tho im not letting you guys wait for over 3 weeks for a new episode thats just not on). So yeah, see you guys in the next chapter!
