The reveal of Firey and Leafy in a relationship, along with Coiny and Pin in a relationship, seemed to have sparked a trend of romance, and it started with a couple who turned out to have confessed to each other all the way in TPOT 13, Donut and Barf Bag.
All the way back in TPOT 13, back when Barf Bag was eliminated, their 'final goodbyes' turned out to be more than those. There was a confession there. It started when they'd sat down, and Barf Bag decided she needed to make a move before it was too late. It would be the first time that they were separated since they first met back in the LOL, so she wanted to make this moment special for the both of them.
As they sat down on the couch to say their 'final goodbyes', Barf Bag started off the conversation. "Heh, I'll miss you, Donut. Like, really miss you." she said softly. Donut could tell that she was nervous, but assumed it was just because she was about to be eliminated. "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?" Donut thought. As it turns out, he could not be more wrong.
"Yeah, I'll really miss you too. I wish we could've spent more time together." Donut replied. Barf Bag was beginning to grow more anxious, but eventually, she built up the courage to say what she'd wanted to say for the past few years. "Donut? Can I tell you something?" Barf Bag asked, ready to let Donut know he had someone who loved him like nobody else. "Sure, what is it?" Donut inquired.
Barf Bag, knowing it was now or never, spoke up. "Well, for quite a long time, I've been having this feeling in my heart... for you." Donut had a feeling that he knew what was coming, but listened intently just in case. "It's like when I'm with you, my world brightens up, and... I think I might like you..." Barf Bag began to blush super hard, but Donut was as well.
"Barfy... I- I feel the same way..." Donut confessed. Barf Bag blushed even more, knowing that she now had the man of her dreams for a boyfriend. But before they could say anything else to each other, they were interrupted by a chainsaw going through their couch, leading to some of Barf Bag's barf landing on Donut.
"Heh, you can keep that... to remember me." Barf Bag suggested, before being interrupted by a disgusted Winner. "Uhh, maybe not?"
And that was the last they saw of each other until TPOT ended, but even after that, they didn't really expand on the idea of them being in a romantic relationship. They both knew they had feelings for each other, but they didn't get the chance to have the private conversation they needed to confirm their relationship, until...
