The Legend of Korra: Male OC x Asami

(A/N): Hello there and welcome back.

I hope you enjoy the chapter, this one is a little shorter and way different than what happened in the show as I've incorporated major elements of this episode into Book 4 and the comics that take place after. So as this chapter is the last one before the final stretch of Book 3, I hope you've enjoyed it up to this point. You aren't ready for the finale, I can tell  you that.

3rd Person POV:

Koza awoke to the sound of alarms blaring throughout the Earth Kingdom base. What he assumed was a massive explosion rang out as dust fell from the ceiling. He tested the chains holding him again, finding them as firm as they ever were.

He could hear the distant sounds of people screaming as the shadows of Earth Kingdom soldiers rushed past the open doorway to his cell.

As the sound of the rampage grew ever closer to his cell, Koza's heart began to beat rapidly. He prayed that it was Mako and Bolin who had come to rescue them, but to his shock, his old friend Wan Shi Tong came charging through the doorway.

The massive owl barely fit through the door, and right behind him was Maska and Naga.

Wan: "We must stop meeting like this."

As Wan slashing the chains clean off Koza's wrists, the shadowbender smiled and found his footing.

Koza: "It's good to see you. You have no idea how much trouble we're in."

Wan: "I know of the Red Lotus. They must be stopped, permanently."

The shadowbender looked up at his friend as Maska rushed to greet him, brushing up against his exhausted body.

Koza: "I agree. They are too dangerous to be left operational."

Wan: "Come, let us find your friends. Then we shall focus on destroying this enemy."

A sinister smile found its way to Koza's face as he stepped out of his cell and came face to face with three Dia Li agents.

He could see the fear in their eyes as he pulled darkness to his side. With Maska and Naga on either side of him and Wan standing tall behind him, Koza stepped towards his former captors.

Koza: "Avatar Korra and Asami Sato. Release them, now."

Minister Fang and his staff were huddled in a small conference room, looking over a detailed map of the Earth Kingdom when Wan attacked.

The Earth Kingdom soldiers quickly realized they were outmatched. They rushed to Fang and urged him to evacuate, taking him and all his staff to their airships.

As the large airships began to take off, Fang smiled down at the burning military base. Wan and Koza were on a tear, cutting through anything that was in their way, but that was part of his plan.

Fang: "Impressive, most impressive."

Officer: "Sir, should we order our forces to regroup and attempt to capture the prisoners!"

Fang: "No. By the time they are ready the Avatar will be free. We don't stand a chance against her alone. Factor in the shadowbender and there isn't a force on this planet that could take them down. Set course for Ba Sing Se. I must speak with the Queen."

Koza and Wan stormed into the cell holding Korra and Asami. In an instant Koza had cut the chains holding Asami up with a blade of darkness.
