[Author POV]
Everyone was surprised by Jungkook's sudden arrival at the palace. Moreover, the way he is restless, everyone is alarmed. They feared for their life!
Queen Mother Lalisa's personal maid rushed to inform her but before she could, Jungkook already reached her chamber. His eyes are flowing like lava and his face is fierce like a wolf. His aura is a fire capable of burning down this entire palace.
"Jungkook, my lion cub, what happened?" Queen Lalisa asked worriedly but Jungkook didn't answer, just took some terrible step towards her.
"What is it, mother?" Jungkook said holding up the folded paper in his hand.
Even though Queen Lalisa could not see the writing inside the paper, she knew exactly that it was the letter she had tacticed. She was a bit nervous and didn't know what to do. Still confident, she replied, "What is it? I don't understand."
Lalisa acted and Jungkook chuckled bitterly. He then opened the paper and held it in front of Lalisa's eyes. Lalisa saw Jungkook's seal at the bottom of the letter and knew it was definitely that letter. But what will she answer now?
"It's a letter. But I haven't got any of yours like this one, son," Lalisa pretended to be a fool.
"But I didn't write it, mother," Jungkook replied, making Lalisa cringe.
"So, who did it?" Lalisa pretended to be worried.
"I don't know. But I hope you're not involved," Jungkook said in a slightly threatening tone.
"Me? No, how am I supposed to be involved?" Lalisa was really scared.
"Okay, Mother. I'll investigate this. Whoever was involved, they-"
"They?"
"They will be to be punished," Jungkook said with another bitter smile, walking away.
Lalisa thought Jungkook knew too much already. In such a case, if he investigates and finds out everything, then there will be a big problem. Better to settle everything now. Maybe she can explain to Jungkook.
"Jungkook?"
"Yes, mother?"
"It's.....I did it."
Jungkook turned to her and gave a small smile that was full of pity. He never expected his mother to do such a thing. But when Y/N told him that this letter was given to him by his mother, he couldn't help believing it. He remembered how much his mother had persuaded him to get married elsewhere after Y/N left.
"Why did you do it, mother?"
"Felt good to me," Lalisa said with much confidence.
"How can you feel good with that? You stole my seal and wrote a letter that made me and Y/N suffer for two years," Jungkook growled in anger.
"Because you and Y/N don't fit in anymore. Think about it son, as a king you should marry a princess of a kingdom so that your children will be of pure royal blood, so that the power of the two dynasties will be combined to form a great reign. Why don't you understand?" Lalisa also became restless.
"I don't want to accept opulence as the definition of love, never have."
"But you have to." Lalisa put her hands on both of Jungkook's shoulders and continued to say, "For the good of the kingdom. By marrying a princess, you'll get a kingdom, so you'll be happy. You both will match made in heaven. That's the best, my son."
Jungkook glared at Lalisa and said, "Then why couldn't you and father be happy?"
Lalisa was completely silent at this question. Not getting an answer, Jungkook continued, "You two were the rulers of two powerful kingdom, why didn't you have a happy ending?"
