I have never seen my dad so furious in my 19 years of living on this planet.

19 years of being alive and I have never ever ever  seen my dad so angry, so blinded by rage.

I think that my mom is the only person is the entire world that can actually tame a little bit of my dad's anger, but when it comes to Del? Yeah he is one scary man.

It has been 3 days since Kyel Mishkin broke Del's heart. 3 days since my sister had popped her head out of her bedroom. 3 days of Dad being on high alert, shouting at the slightest inconvenience, full on machete mode.

I was debating going to my Uncle Adam's for a few days, and I hate my cousin Luke, so that would be saying something.

The house is quiet, too quiet, really, I think. Del has been hiding out in her room, not talking to anyone, not even eating, really. Mom has tried to talk to her, Dad has tried to coax her out, hell, even Luke tried to get her to eat something, all to no avail. I have been walking on eggshells for the past 3 days, ever since Kaila came and told us Del had locked herself in her room and Kyel had cheated on her.

Who would cheat on a girl like Del? She is sweet, funny, kind. Kyel clearly has no taste. My little sister is the best person you would ever meet.

I became acutely aware that my dad had asked me a question, and I had been too busy daydreaming to listen to what he said. "William, are you listening to me?"

I think I outwardly cringed. I hate being called my full name. Will. My name is Will. Not William. It's too formal.

"Uhm.. Could you repeat yourself.." I muttered under my breath, not meeting his eyes. I love my dad, truly. But his powers freak me out and I have enough crap going on inside right now for him to unpick.

He sighed, looking at mom for moral support, but turned back to me. "I said, have you tried to speak to your sister yet? She won't talk to any of us and she is quite fond of you," he said, running a hand through his blonde hair, turning and walking over to mom. She smiled, looking up at him, giving him the Will will talk to her, let him be he is dealing with a lot right now look.

"No. I can go talk to her, if you want? She probably won't want to see me though," I replied, heading towards the door. Last thing I want is my dad to find out. Or my mom. Or anyone.

God what would they think of me?

"Hey, Will? Thank you!" my mom's voice called after me, and I grunted a no problem at her.  I love my mom. Maybe more than everyone else. Don't tell Dad I said that.

Delilah's bedroom door is closed, quite firmly. Awesome. She is probably the most stubborn girl I have ever met. I mean, come on seriously? He was a douchebag, related to Lena Mishkin, what did she expect?

Kyel was good to her, I suppose. He was romantic, treated her like a princess, even got on mom's good side, which is saying something because mom and his mom? Not the best history. And then the moron cheated on her, and now my dad has been making a lot of suspicious phonecalls and a few whispered calls in arabic and then a lot of shouting in russian. I was a little scared because the russian one shouted back. Lena.
