Mandalorian Counter attack

Avona: I Always hated the republic and the future empire for what they had done to many innocent families and even the pain and grief of my own family.

However The Mandalorians were simply divided on very basic principals so the reunification of the Mandalorian kingdoms wasn't hard to do and support and I had no quarrels with giving them whatever they needed to make the empire turn tail and run.

(Coruscant) 6 BBY.

Walking through the long hallways of High Command minister Trihann and His Military Adjutant Brigadier General veers Approached the meeting room in silence but internally both were fuming.

Trihann was livid because the Mandalore war was costing them 5 star ships a day and Veers was furious because over 2 million men were dead by the 2nd year mark of this war.

This conference Trihann hoped to convince the other Military Leaders to back down so the empire could replenish their star fleets because currently he was struggling to replace the ships and the trained crew needed to maximize their capability.

However as they Entered they Saw General Tagge, General Tantor, Colonel Yularen, Admiral Rax and his subordinates Rear Admirals Nasha and Thrawn, Commodore Salone and finally Director Krennic and Grand Moff Tarkin and He knew that HIs hopes of attempting to moderate the war was shot.

Tarkin: excellent now that your here we can get down to business our forces have been stumped with the Ongoing stale mate at Krowsnest. We are struggling to make further head way and as a result I've called this conference to propose a new plan." He says while pulling up a hologram.

"We will deploy the 12th sector Fleet and army Under Motti and General Tagge and they can assume full control over the siege of Krowsnest Meanwhile our new targets will be Matzor the Home world of the Rook clan and base of Mandalore's reserve forces and we will also launch a simultaneous offensive against the capital world." He finishes.

after a brief silence a voice speaks up.

Rax: I still don't see why we can't just firebomb these Mandalorian worlds it would save us a whole heap of trouble." He says coldly staring at the map.

Trihann: Idiot if we won't get the additional territory and resources we need for our emperors ultimate goal the collapse of the CIS. At present the core doesn't have the means to defeat the Confederacy so we need more resources to ensure we can match the Separatists production capacity." He replies angrily.

Krennic: Indeed Especially with project star dust being so resource intensive we need more resources or else Trihann will need to cut his quota again." He said supporting Trihann.

Tarkin: It doesn't matter with our superior army we will achieve ultimate victory and that upstart confederacy will crumble after these Mandalorians." He declared boldly.

Even though he and Nasha had comments Thrawn remained silent fearing they were entering a battle they could ill afford to lose.

Unfortunately more upstarts were being promoted to the military because of wealth and the few highly skilled and experienced officers were being weeded out as a result the military had been degraded compared to the separatist war machine which had both numbers and highly trained troops.

Thrawn had battled Morelians Before and they weren't pushovers and he knew a battle hardened army like that would obliterate them. His thoughts continued to plague him as they all leave the meeting
