"Oh, my baby!" Butterfree cried, rushing forward to scoop Caterpie into her wings. "Thank you, thank you so much!"

Muffy smiled, happy to see the family reunited. "It was no trouble at all," she said humbly.

Elton crossed his arms, smirking proudly. "All in a day's work for Team Awesome."

As Butterfree and Caterpie flew off, Elton gave Muffy a sly glance. "Not bad, huh?"

Muffy giggled, stepping close to Elton. "You were amazing, as always."

"Of course I was." Elton winked, puffing out his chest. "But we make a pretty good team, don't we?"

Muffy smiled up at him, her eyes sparkling. "The best."

Five and a half years had passed since Team Awesome, led by Elton and Alex at the time, defeated Darkrai. Peace reigned, and the duo became legends, as famous as Team Radiant. Elton, a pale green Sceptile, boasted unmatched power and tricks, while Muffy, the steadfast Meganium, served as the team's support and tank, surprising enemies with her resilience.

However, peace was now disrupted by strange earthquakes shaking the world. Deep in thought, Elton and Muffy felt another tremor.

"This isn't natural," Muffy said.

Elton smirked. "It totally isn't. Like what gives?"

As Team Awesome continued their missions worldwide, they noticed tremors everywhere they went-mountains, deserts, cities. At first, the quakes seemed random, but Muffy soon realized they were happening simultaneously across the world.

"Elton," she said, "these tremors... they're everywhere."

Elton's usual confidence faded. "If this is global, it's way bigger than we thought."

They knew then that something far more dangerous was brewing.

At the Underground Altaria Guild, another tremor shook the floor, causing everyone to stop what they were doing. Sirfetch'd, the grumpy right-hand to the ever-vulgar Guildmaster Altaria, slammed his sword leek on the ground. "These tremors have gone on for far too long!"

Dudunsparce from Team Fuse, who was sprawled lazily on the floor, stretched and yawned. "Yeah, we've been looking into it for a while. Pretty sure this means tragedy's coming soon."

The guild members rolled their eyes, unimpressed by the obvious statement. "Really, Dudunsparce? Now you figure that out?" one Pokémon remarked dryly.

Suddenly, Cole the Typhlosion, leader of Team Burner and an overly enthusiastic Sparkly Cupcake Sprinkle Warrior superfan, stood up. "There's definitely something weird going on at night!" he said, his voice rising with excitement.

Before anyone could take him seriously, another team member smirked. "What are you gonna do, Cole? Solve the mystery with sparkles and friendship?" the Pokémon quipped, laughing as Cole's fur stood on end.

"HEY! Sparkles and friendship are totally valid solutions!" Cole shouted back, smoke puffing from his nostrils as the guild burst into laughter.

As the chatter died down, a snarky Pokémon in the corner made a joke. "Maybe it's that old Ninetales fairytale. Y'know, the one where if you touch its tails, you're cursed for a thousand years? I bet the culprit touched those tails and now we're all paying for it!"

Before the laughter could pick up again, Guildmaster Altaria's voice boomed across the room. "ENOUGH WITH THE STUPID FAIRYTALES!" Altaria screeched, feathers fluffed up in irritation. "If that were the case, we'd all be cursed ages ago! IDIOTS!"

The room went silent as everyone nervously avoided Altaria's furious glare.

Breaking the tension, Florges from Team Light spoke up, her tone thoughtful. "What if this is the work of a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon? Darkrai caused chaos years ago... maybe another one is responsible."
