CHAPTER 18

ALEX POV-

We won the first game and the second game will start in a minute with the blue team and orange team. If one of them wins, we will play for them to win the trophy. I leaned down to untie my shoes because it's really hot after slipping off my shoes i put it in my sports bag and leaned my back and covered my face with a towel and fanned my shirt because it's really hot and during the game i feel a little bit dizzy but i managed to end the game. After a while i felt presence sat on my left and i felt a wind on my skin and i think someone is fanning me.

"You're still sweaty you put down your towel". Celine's voice. I obliged it and looked at her and shes smiling while fanning me all over my sweaty body. She took my towel and wiped my face and neck and arms.

"You want to eat something?". Celine, and i just nodded.She reached for her bag to grab a sandwich and handed it to me. Upon reaching it my hand trembled as I looked at it.

"Your hand is trembling. Are you ok?" Celine spoke. I look at my legs and she's right. She pinched some sandwiches and fed me and i didn't answer her question.

"Hey Shane why don't you feed me also". Drixy yelled at the back. I looked at her and rolled my eyes as I opened my mouth for another bite.

After hours it's our play again and our opponent is Blue team and they're very competitive. Our score is fair but after the 3rd quarter they are 14 ahead from us and i can feel my dizziness and my head is throbbing as i stop running and closed tightly my eyes and shake my head after that i start walking and open my eyes, i saw our opponent approaching from my side as i block her and reach for the ball i threw it to Drixy and she do 3 points i gave her a nod and stand in my place. After a minute it's a break. I went to Celine and she handed me a drink.

"Are you ok, you look pale. You can rest you know you can have a sub". Drixy said as she approached me.

"Nah i'm fine and we need to win this game since it's the first time we team up with my cousin".

"Fine, but tell me if you're not fine ok?". Drixy said as i nodded in response.

The game started and in the final quarter we had 3 minutes left and they were ahead of four points. I rush to the opponent who's holding the ball and snatched the ball as i do three points after that the ball is in the opponent as Nom snatched the ball but tripped i rush to reach the ball and made my way to the ring as i dribble the ball and cross over the opponent and lay up the ball. Now we are one point ahead and we have 42 seconds, and my head is like tearing apart from pain but i set it aside.

The opponent is holding the ball as Drixy and Nom are eyeing the opponent who's holding the ball. After the opponent passes the ball the other player is blocked by drixy as Nom is trying to screen me. I catch the ball from Nom and look at the time we have 6 seconds left i can't reach the ring on time as I'm here across. I exhaled deeply as I started moving my foot at the half court and put all my focus to the ball and ring and threw it  with my remaining energy after a second of holding our breath all people cheered in the crowd as it shoot. Drixy and Nom rush to me jumping and laughing i just smile back as i feel myself getting weak as they hug me because of victory i roam my eye to see our friends running towards us. I felt myself slipping from them and i felt  hands around my body.

"Hey Alex can you hear me?". Drixy's voice.

"Call an ambulance".Nom voice shouting.

"Alexxxxx wake up"
"We need to rush Alex to the Hospital,call her butler". Celine shouted.

That's what I heard before i totally passed out.

Alex passed out at the center of the court after the game. We rushed her to the hospital with our friends ,she looks pale right now. Arriving at the hospital Doctors and nurses quickly assist Alex at the hospital bed. We went outside to wait for an update. After a while the doctor went out as we all approached him.
