CHAPTER 4

I'm on my way to the room of kids after telling my husband what happened earlier, then i saw Alex slamming the door and walking past me and i just let her. She's really scary when she's mad but i'm thankful that she doesn't hurt anyone because her hands are really heavy. We enrolled her at Muay thai and taekwondo class when she was young and she's a black belter, we hired a swimming instructor to teach her how to swim and she's really good at it she also trains from fencing, football and basket ball while in instrument i think she's good at guitar. We want her to compete but she doesn't want it since she doesn't like crowded places and to socialize so we didn't push her through.

When i open the door of their room there they are sitting on the couch and silence lingers on the room. I approach them and sit on the vacant couch.

"How did it go?" I asked them but they still became silent.

"She's just worried dear". I said to them and they all nodded.

"She became protective when Evi almost drowned 1 year ago that's why we understand her".Bram said and yes i'm the only parent who knows about it when Alex stormed to her room and slammed the door that day and Evi approached me with terry eyes and they told me what happened that day. I know that she's being cold hearted sometimes but she is also over protective when it comes to her friends because she treats them as siblings

"Yeah and it's our fault not minding what she always tells us when we go to beaches".Kim

" We truly understand her and were thankful to have her as our friend's mom she always takes care of us even though she's the youngest among us". Hero

" Well she's like a parent when she nags us over stupid things we do".Lucas said and chuckled.

" We really understand her feelings right now She may be upset and disappointed right now but we know that it's our fault". Evi said. I turned to Nom who was just bowing her head.

"Nom are you Ok?" I asked and she turned her head toward me and nodded.

"Are you sure?"

"Ahm i was just shocked that Alex is really scary when she's mad". She said with a small smile and we all chuckled.

" Sure it is. We were lucky that she didn't kick or punch us".𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒔 said while laughing

"Yeah, she's really scary and was glad she doesn't use violence , if she did we all would be lying here with a lot of bruises". kim said and laughed

" I don't want to get beaten by a Muay thai player and a black belter my handsome face will be ruined." Bram said and we all laughed

"Shes muay thai player?" Nom asked with a shock face.

"yes dear because she wants it, so your dad (Alex dad)  enrolled her in Muay thai centre." I said

"Oh that's why she has a toned body and a hard spike through the ball that lands on my face it was really strong. I'll just stick to basketball i won't play volleyball with her." Nom said and we all laughed

" I'm glad dear that all of you are not mad at Alex".

" We can't be mad at her mom she's just trying to protect us". Evi

"Thank you Dear. When she tried ending her life you always came to our house just to talk to Alex and accompany her.".

"It's ok mom we all know Alex is just protecting us and she's the youngest but she always nags us like a mom". Kim.

"Now let's go have dinner outside". I said as they all stood up and tailed me behind.  When we arrived at the VIP Room where I requested so that we wouldn't go outside to eat at the restaurant. I roamed my eyes inside and saw Alex and Nam already eating and we were all seated and started getting food.
