RAINBOW SIX, GhostEyes [BETA]
Sunrise R&D HQ, London

Housed in our very own backyard of London, the Sunset R&D HQ, a towering skyscraper funded by Kali's funds to ensure all her files are protected by the best. We'd be split into two teams, Alpha being the ones dropped off on the roof and rappelling down to the correct floor on our signal. Though tricky thing is, the room where the files are being held? Retinal scan, not the cheap eye doctor shit either, some laser focused stuff. Thats where Beta, my team, comes in, it was the night of the operation. An event was being held about some PMC stuff, some big names are here, but most importantly one of Kali's top dogs is gonna be there. Social media icon, Håvard Haugland, otherwise known as Ace. Glutton for cameras, but he knew how to string along politicans and investors with his charisma alone.

Fortunately for us, we had different means of convincing people, the R&D department at Rainbow had modified some of our tech for the operation: Warden's glasses were redesigned to capture high detailed images of the wearer's retinas – in short we punch the shit out of Ace, slap the glasses on him, and get out, or up in this case. Each of us were equipped with one of Vigil's ERC-7s, albeit a less advanced version due to time constraints. Wearing them underneath our formal wear, using them in areas of the venue that would be risky for us to be caught on camera.

A simple smash and grab operation, though it was less smash and more grab. Iana and Meghan will be operating on this mission too, inside a van near the venue running as homeplate for us while also being the getaway drivers for Beta team.

Speaking of Beta Team, it consisted of Me, Nokk, Alibi, Warden, and Flores. Three out of Five of us were specialists in this kind of mingling with the public. Me and Nokk were used to avoiding the public so this was definitely a little out of our comfort zone but we'll manage.

We stood outside of the venue, Nighthaven personnel were stationed at the main entrance, checking the ID passes of attendees and taking photos with any military-fanboy that paid them enough. Truely, worth every penny for Kali. Warden tested the retina scanner on his new glasses, a flick of his wrist activated the camera.

["Camera works, image comes through clearly"] Iana reported on her end, stationed in a black van not too far off. ["Audio's clean. Ball is yours."]

"Welcome to my world you all," Alibi chuckled as she was dressed in a black dress with long gloves and heels. "Or should I say London's finest photojournalists from The Telegraph. Don't make anywaves you all, we'll get through security with no problem."

We stayed quiet while Alibi managed the talking, introducing us to the Security as we presented our badges. Subjecting ourselves to a brief metal detector scan before being allowed entry, he told us that things were starting to wrap up. Better for us to avoid a packed venue. "One of my contacts is at table fourteen, keep with the plan and stay low." Alibi advised as we followed.

I played my part, taking photos with my camera as we walked past the coat check. The main floor was occupied by dinner tables that were sparsely populated, people were spread about talking politics and business, surprisngly there was also a small dance floor. "We certainly look the part," Warden remarked, he nudged me with his elbow and motioned to the stage. "Look whos up there."

Low and behold, there was Haugland rubbing elbows with local politicans. I zoomed in with my camera and snapped a photo as we took a seat at the table. "Haugland isn't allowed to give interviews, and he can't go anywhere without a security detail. So the easy option is off the table." Karina pointed out, recalling her undercover time at Nighthaven. She reached over the table and handed me a small pamphlet – the map of the venue, where people were allowed to go.
