Niharika was rushed to the hospital as her body was battered up and bruised by this accident. The emergency was buzzing with urgency, as doctors worked tirelessly to stabilise her along with the nurses. As the severity of her injuries presented itself, the medical personnel knew they had to go about it quickly. It was filled with the stale smell of antiseptic, mixed with the tension well-thickened in the air.

Soon, the news spread to Abhimanyu and Inaya, who stepped out of everything and rushed to the hospital. The drive seemed endless, each second stretching into an eternity. Her mind was a whirlwind of anxieties, her heart thudding in his chest, while Abhimanyu beside her tried to maintain composure-his trembling hands betraying his.

They finally reached the hospital, and when they entered the room, they saw Niharika lying on the hospital bed in a broken body. Tubes and wires connected her to various machines, beeping rhythmically as they monitored her vital signs. Her face was pale, and her breathing was shallow. Abhimanyu's heart shattered at the sight, memories of their past flooding back with a painful intensity.

He went to her bedside with his eyes full of tears. Softly, he took her hand in his and felt the coldness of her skin.

Abhimanyu: "Niharika, I'm here. I'm so sorry this happened to you."

Niharika's eyes fluttered weakly open, and she managed a faint smile. Her voice was barely audible as she spoke the words she had held in her heart for so long.

Niharika: "Abhimanyu. I. I love you."

He held her hand, and his voice cracked. "We love you too, Niharika. Please, do not worry. We all have so much to talk about, so much to catch up on."

Inaya stood there, crying as she watched the heartbreaking scene. She placed a comforting hand on Abhimanyu's shoulder. "He's here, Abhimanyu."

Inaya: "She's fighting, Abhimanyu. She is strong. She knows you are here."

She closed her eyes for a second, letting them open up and turn to Abhimanyu. "I wanted to tell you. about it for so long,"

she said with an exhausted sigh. "Sorry. to you for everything."

Abhimanyu: "No, Niharika, no, this is not the time or the place to say sorry." None of this matters anyway. Just concentrate on being better. You'll be same again; I swear for that.

And so her eyes closed in, and she slipped quietly down into the dark. Abhimanyu felt as if his chest was being ripped open with each breath of his being tormented by the weight of her unspoken love.

And Inaya knew just how much she had loved him, and the realisation almost threatened to tear her apart in its anguish.

There stood Inaya, tears streaming down her face as she saw the pitiful scene with her eyes. She placed her hand on Abhimanyu's shoulder, her silent words reaching out to him. The once frenetic hospital room fell eerily quiet and grew heavy with the weight of the moment.
