As the ceremonial offerings ended, Taehyung and Jimin respectfully stepped aside, watching Jin and Jungkook receive blessings from the guests. Yet, the admiring gazes of Yea-Ji and Yea-So didn't go unnoticed; Yea-So's eyes lingered hungrily on Jimin, his gaze sweeping over him from head to toe with an unashamed intensity. At the same time, Yea-Ji's interest in Taehyung was equally evident, her gaze filled with intrigue and mischief.
After a few moments, unable to bear the sight of Jin and Jungkook together, Taehyung slipped away from the crowd, hoping for a moment alone to quiet his conflicted heart. As he reached a secluded corner, Yea-Ji followed him, approaching with a smile that only deepened his discomfort. She moved close, pretending to brush something off his shoulder, her hand lingering on him as she looked directly into his eyes.
"Your eyes are very beautiful," she murmured, her gaze holding his in a way that was both intense and invasive.
Caught off guard, Taehyung blinked in surprise but said nothing, his expression a mix of confusion and reluctance.
Not deterred, Yea-Ji added, "It seems like you're hearing compliments from a beautiful Omega girl for the first time."
With an unreadable expression, Taehyung began to walk away, but she boldly grabbed his hand, stopping him.
"I praised you," she teased with a smirk, "and now you're just leaving without a response?"
In a cold, detached tone, Taehyung replied, "I don't want to talk to you. Please let go of my hand."
Her smirk only widened. "Wow, your voice is as mesmerizing as your eyes. What's your name?"
With a barely contained irritation, he answered, "Kim Taehyung. Now, please let go of my hand."
Unfazed, Yea-Ji continued smirking as she released him. "Park Yea-Ji," she introduced herself with a flirtatious edge. "It was nice meeting you, too."
As Taehyung walked away without looking back, Yea-Ji watched him, murmuring to herself, "Park Yea-Ji, you've taken a liking to him. Drama king, huh? This is going to be interesting."
As the guests eventually started to leave, the Park family bid farewell to the Kim family. The ceremony concluded smoothly, and everyone retired to their rooms to rest. Meanwhile, Namjoon remained in his study, focused on work, when Seo entered, sitting across from him with a determined expression.
"Namjoon," Seo began firmly, "we should arrange Jin and Jungkook's wedding as soon as possible."
Namjoon looked at her with mild surprise. "How can we arrange the wedding so quickly? There's so much preparation needed."
"Forget about elaborate preparations," Seo insisted. "Just invite the family and a few important guests. Later, we'll host a grand reception and invite all the VIPs."
Namjoon considered her words, nodding slowly. "Alright, then. The wedding will take place tomorrow morning at the church. I'll gather everyone in the living hall for an announcement."
With a pleased smile, Seo watched him leave, muttering to herself, "Taehyung, you won't be able to do anything now."
Soon, all family members gathered in the living hall, including Taehyung and Jimin. Namjoon addressed them solemnly.
"I've made a decision," he announced. "Jungkook and Jin's wedding will take place tomorrow morning."
The family was stunned, though Taehyung and Jin, sensing this outcome, remained silent. Jungkook's gaze locked onto Taehyung, his eyes gleaming with pride over his victory. Taehyung, seeing Jungkook's smug expression, steeled himself, meeting Jungkook's gaze with a silent yet fierce determination. He wasn't going to let Jin go without a fight.
