As the clock struck 7 PM, the snow began to fall gently outside, blanketing the world in a soft white glow. Yet inside the Kim Mansion, tension remained thick, lingering in every corner of the room, a stark contrast to the peaceful scene outside.

In Namjoon’s study, Rose entered with a careful knock, holding the stack of documents.

She could sense Namjoon's simmering anger and took a seat silently, not wanting to interrupt his stern focus

The room was silent except for the faint rustling of papers as Namjoon went over each one with precision, his expression hardening.

Moments later, Namjoon’s voice cut through the stillness as he called for Jin and Taehyung. The two entered, standing quietly, side by side. Jin’s face showed no fear; he had anticipated this, but Taehyung seemed visibly tense.

Namjoon’s gaze sharpened as he finally looked up at them. "Jin, what you did might be forgivable as your brother-in-law," he began coldly, "but as the Director of KIM’s, I cannot tolerate it. You will have to resign from your position as the head director of social affairs at KIM'S GROUP, and you must withdraw your candidacy from the upcoming mayoral election."

Jin remained still, accepting the words with a calmness that surprised even Namjoon. But Taehyung, caught off guard, looked at Jin in shock. He didn't want Jin to suffer this loss for his sake.

But before Taehyung could speak, Jin, with a gentle smile, took the pen, signing the resignation and withdrawal papers without hesitation. Rose and Namjoon watched him, astonished at how easily he seemed to give up everything he had worked so hard for.

“Director sir,” Jin said softly, his voice steady yet humble, “please forgive me. I am resigning for the good of the company. If my actions have caused any trouble, I am deeply sorry.” He bowed his head, an apology in every movement, asking for forgiveness with sincere humility.

Namjoon was stunned. Jin’s unwavering loyalty and willingness to give up his career and future in politics for Taehyung struck a chord. Yet, anger simmered beneath the surface, and he turned to Taehyung, frustration evident in his tone.
