Felix POV-

A month had passed since Felix first met Hyunjin, the enigmatic L who had sparked both curiosity and fear within him. The world around him had shifted subtly, the shadows of suspicion that had once loomed over him receding as he navigated his daily life. Graduation day had arrived, a culmination of years of hard work and perseverance, and yet, despite the joy surrounding him, Felix felt a nagging unease, particularly whenever he caught sight of Hyunjin.

As the sun cast a warm glow over the auditorium, Felix sat among his classmates, dressed in a sleek graduation gown that felt both foreign and familiar. The air buzzed with excitement, laughter, and the sound of camera shutters capturing moments that felt significant yet ephemeral. This was it—the culmination of years of hard work and late nights. He should have been overjoyed, yet there was a weight in his chest that he couldn't shake.

Looking out at the sea of proud faces—friends, family, and mentors—Felix's gaze drifted to the back of the room, where the detective team sat, their expressions a mix of admiration and solemnity. Minho, always the supportive brother, gave a thumbs-up, while Jisung and the other beamed with unfiltered joy. But amidst their smiles, Felix caught sight of Hyunjin, his expression inscrutable as he leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching him intently.

It was a day of celebration, yet Felix couldn't shake the lingering tension. Though he had been cleared of suspicion regarding Kira, Hyunjin's piercing gaze reminded him that the shadows of their past were never too far away. Hyunjin still suspected something—was it him? Felix had made a conscious effort to appear normal, to blend in. But beneath the calm exterior lay turmoil, uncertainty about his future and the choices that lay ahead.

As the ceremony unfolded, speeches were made, and the graduates' names were called one by one. When it was finally Felix's turn, he felt a rush of exhilaration mixed with dread. He walked across the stage, shaking hands with the principal and accepting his diploma, but as he stood there, he couldn't help but feel that this moment was just a prelude to something far more complicated.

Once the ceremony concluded, families and friends flooded the stage to congratulate the graduates. Felix searched for his friends, but a familiar presence caught his eye. Hyunjin approached him, a sly smile playing on his lips.

After the ceremony, as everyone milled about to congratulate the graduates, Hyunjin approached Felix with that signature calmness that masked his true intent. The other members of the detective team—Minho, Jisung and the rest—mingled around them, chatting with Felix and offering their well wishes. But Hyunjin's focus remained solely on Felix, an unyielding intensity in his dark eyes.

"Felix," Hyunjin said, his voice steady, drawing Felix's attention away from the jubilant crowd. "Congratulations on your graduation. You've worked hard for this moment."

"Thanks, Hyunjin," Felix replied, a hint of nervousness creeping into his voice. "I appreciate it." He attempted to maintain his composure, but the weight of Hyunjin's scrutiny made it difficult.

"I'm glad to see you've moved on from that... unpleasantness surrounding Kira," Hyunjin continued, his tone casual but with an underlying tension that made Felix's stomach churn. "However, I still have my doubts."

Felix's heart raced at the implication. Despite the lack of evidence against him, Hyunjin still suspected him, and that knowledge made the celebration feel bittersweet. "What do you mean?" he asked, feigning innocence.

Hyunjin leaned in slightly, his gaze unwavering. "You're more than just a student, Felix. I see that competitive fire in you, the same drive that Kira has. It's what makes you... interesting." He paused, allowing the weight of his words to hang in the air.
