YOU WERE BORN A Kook, and like all your friends, you hated the Pogues, and like all the Pogues, they hate you guys.

You Rafe, Topper, Kelce, Ruthie, and Sarah are hanging out on the beach, it's a peaceful evening as the sun sets, until you see John b, Kiara, JJ, and Pope, you've always despised Kiara because she's a Kook like you but hangs out with the poor, dirty Pogues, as you guys called them.

As you roll your eyes and whisper to Sarah about Kiara being a dirty slut because there's a rumor going around she's slept with Pope, JJ, and John b, but of course, JJ overheard what you said.

"Hey! Watch your mouth, princess." JJ spat, taking his drink and throwing it on you, the red kool-Aid staining your white shirt.

"Hey, don't fuck with my girl." Rafe said through gritted teeth, standing up at your defense. You two have been dating for some time—around 8 months—But you were getting a little tired of the tough act he always pulls when with his friends or other crowds.

"It's fine, just sit back down." You said, grabbing Rafe's hand and pulling him back down gently.

"Talk about her again and I swear to God I'll kill you." JJ muttered as John B and Pope walked away, Kiara grabbing JJ's hand and pulling him with her as she walks with John B and Pope.

"I'd like to see you fucking try!" Rafe shouted, flipping them off, and he threw another empty beer can at them.

"You're making a fool of yourself, Rafe, just ignore them," you tell him, trying to de-escalate the situation.

"No, No, No. They're the ones being assholes, they can't get away with everything! They always get to be assholes." Rafe yells back, the rest of your friends mumbling in agreement, but you shake your head, rubbing your temples.

"Rafe, you know you can't let them get to you." You reply softly, trying to get him to calm down.

Rafe sighed, flopping down beside you with an annoyed groan. "Why do they have to be such low-life assholes?"

You sigh quietly, playing with his hair gently. "Just forget about them, okay? They aren't worth it, love. It's not worth causing a scene."

Rafe scoffed, though he leaned his head on your shoulder, wrapping his arms around you as he closed his eyes. "You're right, you're always right," he muttered, pulling you closer.

"I'm always right, yet you never listen to me." You laugh softly, kissing his cheek gently.

"I listen," he mutters back, though it's obvious that he doesn't listen, like, at all. He was stubborn and loved to always go through with whatever he wanted, even if it pissed others off.

You roll your eyes at his reply and give him a half hug, cuddling your body on his.

"Of course, you do." You reply sarcastically, and Rafe laughs quietly under his breath.

"Shut up." He mumbles, cuddling you back.

Your friends glance over at the two of you, and Kelce speaks up. "Get a room you two."

Rafe flips off Kelce, his hold on you tightening. "Keep talking, Kelce. See what happens." He responds angrily, annoyed by his sarcastic comment.
