It's been a month since Crocodile let Vivi go. But now, with a carefully calculated plan, he returns to the palace under the guise of diplomacy. His offer to work with the Alabasta Kingdom is one that intrigues the royal council. He's not here for the good of the kingdom, though every move is driven by his desire for Vivi, to make her submit to him on her own terms.
After the formal discussions in the throne room, Crocodile's gaze catches Vivi's from across the hall. There's a flicker of something in her eyes, surprise, fear, maybe even longing - but she quickly masks it behind her usual grace. The sight of her, standing there in her royal attire, stirs something deep within him. His mind races with the memory of their past encounters, the way her body reacted to his touch, the way she tried, and failed, to resist him.
As the palace halls quiet down, Crocodile waits. He knows Vivi is careful, that she'll find a private corner to retreat to after the formalities. His plan is seamless — no one will interrupt what's about to happen.
The moment presents itself when Vivi steps into a small, quiet room, likely seeking a few moments of peace. She doesn't expect to turn and see him standing at the doorway, blocking any chance of escape. His eyes pierce into her, sharp and filled with dark intent.
"Crocodile..." she begins, her voice soft but laced with the growing tension between them. "You shouldn't—"
"Shouldn't what?" His deep voice cuts through the room as he steps closer, shutting the door behind him. "Remind you who you belong to?"
Vivi's heart pounds in her chest. Her mind races with every reason to push him away, to maintain her composure, but she knows from experience how hard it is to fight him. She backs up against the wall as Crocodile closes the distance, his tall frame casting a shadow over her.
"You can't..." she whispers, though the words sound hollow, almost as if she doesn't truly mean them. "Not here. Someone could—"
But before she can finish, his lips crash down on hers, devouring her in a way that sends shivers down her spine. His kiss is rough, desperate, filled with the hunger he's held back for so long. Her body betrays her immediately, reacting to him like it always does, igniting with a heat she can't control.
Crocodile's hands are everywhere — possessive, claiming. He grabs her waist, pulling her tight against him, and Vivi's breath hitches as the room spins. She can't let this happen here, not in the palace, not where anyone could walk in. But the way he touches her, the way he owns her with every motion, makes it impossible for her to resist. Her hands clutch his coat, half pushing him away, half pulling him closer.
"Stop... someone might come in," she manages to gasp between kisses, her words muffled against his lips.
He smirks against her mouth, pulling back just enough to look into her eyes, his fingers tracing her jaw with dangerous intent. "Let them," he says, voice low and mocking, daring anyone to challenge him. "They'll see what you've become. How much you want this."
Vivi shakes her head, but her body betrays her once again. Every inch of her tingles under his touch, and as his hands slip beneath her dress, she feels her knees weaken. She hates that he knows exactly how to break her, how to make her forget everything else but the feeling of him overpowering her senses.
"No..." she breathes, her voice faltering, more out of fear of being caught than any real protest. "Not here."
Her words only make Crocodile's grin widen. The fear in her voice excites him, but more than that, it's the way her body gives in, the way her breathing quickens, the way her hands, though trembling, don't push him away. He presses her harder against the wall, his mouth trailing down her neck, tasting the skin he's craved for so long.
