The ADA's Perception

In the shared workspace, Kunikida glanced at Dazai from his desk. "He's acting more like himself, don't you think?"

Atsushi, seated nearby, nodded hesitantly. "Yeah, but... do you think he's really okay? He still seems distant."

"Dazai is always distant," Ranpo chimed in, lounging in his chair with a bag of snacks. "It's part of his charm, or whatever."

Kunikida adjusted his glasses. "I'm not convinced. He's smiling, he's participating, but something feels... off. We'll keep an eye on him, just in case."

Yosano, who had just entered the room, overheard them. "He's been putting on a good front during our sessions," she said, arms crossed. "But there's something he's not telling us. I can feel it."

Chuuya, standing in the doorway, scoffed. "Of course he's hiding something. That's Dazai. But don't be fooled by the act—he's not out of Fyodor's grip yet. Not by a long shot."
