Her stare was starting to make my body tingle. I knew what kind of stare that was, and I smirked because of it. Rainie quickly looked away and nudged Anita, who looked over at me. Her whole face gleamed a bright smile as she squealed, and she ran up to me, bombarding me in a hug, and I picked her up and twirled her around once before setting her down. I loved her curvy body pressed against me, and her perfume and affection overtook me.

"Wow, what a surprise, darlin'," I said into her blonde hair as I held her tightly, and her arms were wrapped around my neck enough to strangle me, but I didn't mind. "You're early."

She looked back at me, giving me an incredulous look. "What? I can't come to see you earlier?"

"Did you arrive early just for me?" I gave her a wink, and she grinned as I heard people comment around how adorable this scene was.

"I have work to do here in LA, but I admit you had something to do with it." She gave me a wink back. "And we have to talk about something, but after you're done for the day. I'm staying at the Hilton here in LA. You know the one. Room 406." She let go of me, and I tragically had to let go of her curvy, dainty waist. She looked back at Rainie and Brenda who were still talking with Juliet. "I met Rainie and Brenda. And... I was told everything."

I let out a breath, the happy feeling of seeing Anita again after a few weeks gone. She was glued to my side after I arrived back home on the train, but she had to head up to New York for a little while before coming to LA.

"I see," I said. "Well, you know that they want it hush-hush, right?"

We both looked over at Rainie, and we saw the Colonel off to the side behind a camera stand, staring at her, not looking all that pleased. Anita said, "Yes, and I vowed I wouldn't tell a soul unless Rainie says it's okay. We became very fast friends. She actually rescued me from a bunch of reporters this morning, and we had breakfast together."

"Wait, really? What's the full story there?"

She took my collar to this uniform shirt and brought me down lower so she could give me a quick kiss, which my heart jumped at. Boy, her soft, sweet lips were like cotton candy. I wanted more, but she said, "I'll tell you later. Now get to it, Tulsa."

She let me go and strolled over to her new friends, and I eyed her as she did so, and then I eyed the four of them together. I let out a breath as my heart went faster on account of them all. Four intense beauties, one of which I had gone steady with for three years. "I'm in trouble. Jerry was right—I gotta be careful."

The announcement was called that we would start filming, and the non-actors got off the set, and me and the guys playing Tulsa's army buddies got together. I saw Rainie standing with Brenda, and they were standing near the Colonel. Father and daughter eyed each other then looked away. How awful, that a father and daughter couldn't even associate because they wanted to keep their relationship a secret.

The set was ready to go in a few minutes, and Juliet did her thing and started dancing, and I really couldn't keep my eyes off of those legs of hers. But then my gaze went to Rainie. I knew the camera would take shots of me watching Juliet, so I couldn't be staring at Rainie for too long as she watched as well. Thankfully, the scene wasn't cut since my gaze was on the wrong thing.

(Dancing starts at 2:57)

Once the scene was cut, the lights went on, and Juliet was instructed on her dancing by her choreographer. I met Rainie's gaze as this went on, and she quickly looked away, and Anita noticed this exchange. Well, I had an idea of why she wanted to talk. When a girl says she wants to talk, it's never a good thing.
