I'm not sure if anyone has thought about this story idea. For I haven't seen it, but a simple story idea would be an adeptus mechanicus male reader in the murder drones universe.
A simple reason why the reader would help the gang would be because he senses "the machine spirit" within them and not in Cyn. Therefore, "the abdominal intelligence" must be destroyed.
The reason why the reader would end up in their universe would be because they were with a group researching a necron tomb. In doing so, they activated a trap that sent in a different universe at a different time.
