MONTEGO BAYMAY 3, WEDNESDAY
8:00AMHAKIM ELIAS ROSS | 22
"Why'd you choose to stay in Montego Bay? Is that where you're from?"
Staring at Ny'Asia on the FaceTime we were on, she had her phone propped up in her kitchen, showcasing her standing by the stove preparing breakfast while speaking to me.
My attention centered mainly on her body, scanning over how the two piece shorts and cropped-top pajama set hugged her curves perfectly.
"Eli?" I hear her call and I hum in response, bring my attention to where she was staring directly at the phone with a small frown.
"Did you hear what I asked?"
"I heard'u ma.." I respond, pulling my phone back from my face a bit.
After dropping her off the other day, she ended up giving me her number. At first I wasn't gonna use it, but ended up texting her lastnight when I got bored.
She ended up calling further on into the night, and we've been on the call since then, since neither us choose to hang up before falling asleep.
I won't lie, she's cool to talk with.
"Yeah, my moms' side of people are St James native" I tell her.
My father's side of people are from Kingston. My parents met while my dad worked as a security guard and was working out of parish.
"Mobay man a crawsis enuh.." I hear her say jokingly and I smile faintly, not bothering to vocalize a response.
Hearing music suddenly turn on, the beat familiar as it blasted through the house.
