Babe awoke slowly, blinking against a dim, shadowy light. Everything felt off, like he was seeing the world through a murky filter. The familiar estate around him was twisted, its walls faint and ghostly, as if made of fog and shadow. He let out a shaky breath, glancing around to confirm he was alone.

"Well, here we are," he muttered to himself, his voice echoing slightly. "Shadow realm tours: 1/10 for ambiance, zero for guest service." He stretched, attempting to shake off the unease clinging to him.

As he ventured forward, strange distortions caught his attention—things seemed slightly out of place, and every so often he thought he saw movement in the corners of his vision. It wasn't long before he found himself face to face with... himself. A shadowy version of him, faintly outlined in mist, grinned back, mirroring his every movement.

"Well, well, if it isn't the great Babe," the shadow taunted, an edge to its tone that echoed Darius's mocking voice. "With all your big talk and snark. Tell me, who are you really without that front?"

Babe raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Oh, come on, Darius. You're going for the whole 'evil self-reflection' thing? Get a better scriptwriter."

The shadow narrowed its eyes but faded away with a frustrated hiss as Babe continued forward. The estate's distorted halls led him through twists and turns that made little sense, and his humor kept him steady as he tried to make sense of this surreal place.

Somewhere nearby, Ollie was having his own experience with the shadow realm's quirks. He whispered a small spell, which summoned a glittery, reindeer-shaped guide. To his surprise, it addressed him in a dramatic, booming voice, "Follow me, Hero Ollie!" Ollie winced, cheeks reddening. "I didn't ask for the title," he muttered, trailing behind his new, self-proclaimed "guide" who pranced proudly down the hall.

Finally, after what felt like an endless maze of twisting shadows and strange echoes, Babe spotted a familiar figure up ahead, moving with a calm but purposeful stride.

"Billy!" Babe called out, his voice tinged with relief.

Billy turned, his expression brightening slightly as he walked over. "Babe. You're all right?"

"Perfectly fine," Babe replied, flashing a grin. "And ready to get out of this theme park of creepiness."

They shared a brief smile before Babe explained his encounter with the mocking shadow. As they moved forward together, Darius's voice suddenly filled the air, dripping with disdain.

"Well, if it isn't the duo of misplaced loyalty," Darius sneered, his voice weaving through the shadows like a living presence. "Billy, are you still clinging to this modern world? To these attachments?"

Billy tensed, his jaw setting, but Babe merely scoffed. "Attachments are kind of our thing, Darius," he shot back, his voice laced with exaggerated sarcasm. "You should try it sometime—maybe find a hobby or two outside of lurking and gloating."

Billy, emboldened by Babe's attitude, straightened. The faintest hint of a smile tugged at his mouth, and he reached over, patting Babe's shoulder in a quiet show of solidarity.

They pressed on, Darius's taunts fading as they pushed further into the shadows. Finally, they turned a corner and spotted Ollie, who was casting a protective spell that shimmered around him in a dome of light. The reindeer guide gave a last proud snort before prancing off into the darkness.

"Ollie!" Babe and Billy hurried into the safe zone as Ollie beamed.

"I knew you'd find me!" Ollie exclaimed, waving his wand like a victory flag.

Babe and Billy shared a look of relief. "We're glad you're safe," Billy said, his voice softened with genuine warmth.

Together, they settled into the safe zone to catch their breath, their tense expressions relaxing as they gathered their strength. Babe glanced at Billy, feeling a rare, unspoken gratitude well up.

"Thanks for sticking with me back there," he said quietly.

Billy nodded, his gaze meeting Babe's with an intensity that spoke more than words. "Always," he replied simply.

Ollie watched them, his young face filled with pride and determination. "So, what's the plan to stop Darius?" he asked, eager for action.

They took a moment to assess their situation, realizing that Darius's control over the shadow realm was tied to this dimension's magic, weakened now that they had disrupted the relic. If they could turn the shadows against him, they might finally be able to escape his control.

"Let's use the shadows," Babe suggested, a hint of excitement in his voice. "Throw them off balance—make Darius's realm work against him."

With their plan set, the trio stood together, ready to confront whatever came next. As they took their first steps out of the safe zone, the shadows swirled around them, thicker than before, closing in as if anticipating the impending battle.

And just as the darkness surrounded them once more, Babe couldn't resist calling out with one last quip. "Hey, Darius! Hope you're ready for a new tour theme: Heroic Exits and Villain Defeats."

With that, they braced for the final confrontation, ready to face the darkness—and Darius—with everything they had.
