Overview
Pumpkinhead embodies the conjurers'' hate, desire for vengeance, and their unforgiving of their wrongdoers. This makes Pumpkinhead an unforgiving monster who brutally kills people. He appears to enjoy the agony he puts his victims through and sometimes it appears to let its targets escape him deliberately, just to draw out his 'cat and mouse' game even longer, just for his victim's suffering and his amusement.
Lore
In a secluded town, vengeance was a ritual as old as time. When wronged, locals would seek out Haggis, an ancient witch who could summon a terrible retribution upon the offenders. Ed Harley, a bereaved father, was one such desperate soul. His grief was profound, his rage seething. He sought justice beyond mortal hands for the loss of his son. By his desperate plea, Haggis summoned an entity of unholy vengeance—the towering, monstrous creature known only as Pumpkinhead.
The creature set forth, seeking out those named in the ritual and dealing a brutal justice. The Entity watched with a keen interest, feeling the pulsing thirst for retribution within the creature. Sensing that Pumpkinhead's mission would soon end, The Entity intervened, clouding the mortal plane in thick, dark fog. When the fog receded, Pumpkinhead was gone. It had been snatched into The Entity's realm, and there, vengeance would be eternally given purpose.

Vengeful Pursuit
Pumpkinhead thrives on the horror of those who run from it. When survivors attempt to escape Pumpkinhead's presence, it grows stronger. Each time a survivor sprints within Pumpkinhead's terror radius, he gains a token, stacking up to 3.
Special Ability: Retribution Strike
For each token, Pumpkinhead's attack range increases slightly and his movement speed ramps up. Upon reaching maximum tokens, Pumpkinhead emits an eerie screech, intimidating nearby survivors within his terror radius and inflicting the Oblivious status effect for 15 seconds.
Special Ability: Dark Harvester
By performing a small channel on a survivor in the dying state by a basic attack, the Pumpkin Head can send the survivor to 1 of 4 dark patches around the map. Once completed, the demon gains a enhancement in it's abilities for 60 seconds depending on perks or items the cursed survivors
Special Ability: Vengeful Manifestation When standing still for a moment, Pumpkinhead can phase into the ground and reappear at a marked location he's passed within the last 30 seconds, adding an element of surprise and terror.
Perks
Hex: Curse of Vengeance
"That old woman scares the piss out of me!"
At the start of the trial, a dull totem becomes a hex totem. Everytime a generator is completed, gain a token.
- 1 Token: Decreases Survivors cleansing and blessing speeds on this totem by 40%
- 2 Tokens: Gain a loud noise notification when a Survivor begins to cleanse this totem.
- 3 Tokens: All Survivors suffer from the blindness status effect.
- 4 Tokens: All Survivors suffer from the oblivious status effect.
- 5 Tokens: The exit gates are blocked by the Entity for 80 seconds.
Fated Pursuit
"Nothin' can call it off..."
Each time you down a survivor, all generators being worked on are blocked for 4/6/8 seconds. Survivors working on these generators suffer from the Exhausted status effect for the duration.
Scourge Hook: Hell's Retribution
"...but I'm gonna send it back to whatever the Hell it come from!"
At the start of the trial, 4 hooks become Scourge Hooks. When placed on a Scourge Hook, Survivors are teleported to an available basement hook.
For every Survivor hooked in the basement, your Terror Radius is reduced by 4/6/8 meters.
